Huh?

Given a true 37" tire on a 17" wheel, how does going with a narrower tire increase sidewall height? Overall sidewall height will be ~20" no matter if it's a pizza cutter or not, right?

Awww, he’s right if the 12.50’s were on a 9” wheel, and the cutters were on 7.5’s. ‘course, if the cutters were put on the 9” wheels, the sidewall would be shorter. He got it ass backwards….. figer’d it out for him.

These tires continue to impress me. I've been daily driving them to work and back for nearly 3000 miles and forget just how aggressive and effective they are. I haven't found an area that they truly do not shine in. The only negatives so far is weight and price. They are heavy and WILL reduce fuel mileage. And at $370 each, they are very spendy.

But the performance is just awesome!

I have 35X12.5 MTs on my power wagon with over 20K miles on them. Fantastic both on and off road, With a power wagon there is no such thing as gas milage. I have BFG KO2s on the Rubicon

Great review, I think these will be my next set when I need to replace my current tires. Speaking of which, still have the stock Falken Wildpeak MTs my Willys came with, and honestly have been pleased with them the first 7 mo & ~6000 mi. Compared to these, any thoughts on what to expect in regards to road noise/ride and mileage?

This has been by far the best "off road" tire I have used. had a few Nittos, tried some coopers, BFG's, and other tire brands.

Even the wife says she approves this one lol. she hated the coopers.

Have about 5,000 miles on the tires and love em! wear is good, noise is minimal, balanced really well, ride is really really good. Cant recommend enough.

The sidewall height will always be a percentage factor of the measured tread block width, as dictated by the Series Tire. If it is a 70 Series Tire, then the sidewall height will measure at 70% of the measured tread block width.

I'm not sure what you're replying to, but that only applies to tires spec'd using metric (aka P-Metric / Euro-Metric) sizing.

Loved the Baja Boss ATs performance so much on the Jeep, that I bought them for my new Ram 2500 a few months ago. It hasn't done anything other than light off-roading, but if anything can find traction with 1000 ft. lbs. of torque, it will be the Mickey Thompsons...

Call the Mickey Thompson Tech Support for a recommendation on the recommended tire pressures for your particular ride setup and driving style and they will give you the pressures to run for great tire wear.
