OP came on here calling a tire "Best" People jumped on him right away haha.
Honestly I thought he would say Baja Boss ATs...

Glad you like At4w, I think I'll try wild peak r/t as my next tire in 38.
I think the only downsize may be the weight but at 38” it doesn’t really matter IMO

Want something larger than 37s or more aggressive. Have a few choices, wildpeak is at the top of the list.
Personally Baja AT are phenomenal. Smart choice is to get the same tire but smart isn’t always the choice on jeeps :)

I appreciate you taking the time to post. I'm in the market for tires for my 1500 crew pickup. I'm coming from a R/T type tire and want quiet/fuel economy. I was looking for these after you posted, but could not find them on the Goodyear site. Are they a new or a discontinued model?
They are only available through Discount Tire

Just installed a set of 35” Baja Boss ATs. I’ll be taking them out for some light wheeling this weekend, and then for some heavy wheeling in November (possibly with a little snow thrown in). They sure are quiet on the road, as all new tires tend to be. Looking forward to seeing how they perform where it matters.

Not really... Just air them down appropriately. A chalk test indicated that I need to air my E-rated Discoverer AT3 LTs (my fave tire) down to 22-24 lbs on the street. A side benefit to that is I don't need to air down all that often when I go off road.
Oh I totally realize that you can make them softer by airing them down, but I had both on my Jeep and load range C ride A LOT smoother than aired down load range E. Totally noticeable. E are ideally for heavy pickup trucks, not wranglers.

Tough crowd...

Not a shill and not paid. I just have been super happy with my tires and thought others would like to know of a great tire.

But, I guess some folks here get triggered by other people liking something different than they do.

Besides, do you really think Goodyear is going to pay some fat guy with horrible video editing skills to promote their tires?
Maybe, by definition that’s what a shill does. But, you also posted a controversial and a somewhat “trying to be helpfull” post that is reminiscent of a recent troll Blackwater. You don’t by any chance like to sip Yamasaki 18 and make shitty bets with your neighbors?

I suspect that the majority of active participants in this forum slant toward more skeptical world views of marketing.

From my personal perspective, it isn't very common to see JLwranglerforum members posting full-throated endorsements of any product as being the absolute unquestionably universal best over all (exceptions: Jeeps, of course, and Amsoil: ALL forum members accept rave reviews about AMSOIL produts as absolultely unbiased and true). Typically there is more of a "from my experience..:" perspective one would see. This especially from newer members who have not yet built forum reputation (no offense... for what it is worth, i am certainly in the same boat).

Was good though, that you specifically addressed the paid endorsement part (cash tires other). I assume that if you had that in your original posting, people might not have automatically jumped to conclusions about why someone would be so enthusiastic about tires that aren't well known in the forum.

My experience so far is with the KO2, Baja Boss AT, and Kenda Klever RT. All good tires but the BB AT checks all those boxes but they’re pricey for me right now and heavy so I tried the non 3 peak rated Klever RT’s.

They are only a tick worse in wet and snow, about 4 lbs lighter each than the BB AT I ran but still very very good, especially for the money in my experience. I’m on my second set and the 35x10.5R17’s have netted a solid 2 mpg hwy gain coming from the 295/70/18 BB AT. Lower rolling resistance, about the same tread contact patch while airing down easily 5psi less so I spend less time airing up again. If I could swing the BB AT’s again, I’d look at the pizza cutters they have but I don’t see me leaving what I’m running as long as they continue to make them.

The BB AT’s look a bit better but it’s not worth the difference to me. I’m also slightly more about function over aesthetics. The Klevers look good though.

Good luck in YouTube. Just a hobby for me. I don’t have time to keep up with the upload frequency they want to disseminate your channel. I’ve got how-to’s and a few trails. Working on a 3.6 oil cooler/spark plug vid and my Merus Adventure Park vid. It’s looking good.

in the sense that we didn't know what we were doing with them?
or that we went through a lot of them and still wanted different ones?

i'm pretty sure that (at least most of) my girlfriends were more attractive than any of the tires i've used,..
🤷‍♀️

Tires are like girlfriends when you were a teenager.

Those are my favorite tires. Great all around.
