I was checking my build status a few days ago via Jeep.com Contact Us and was told pricing would be revealed this Friday, December 1st.

Would be nice to replace the stock window bolts with ones with Heavy Duty Thumb Screw Type Bolts with matching threads for easy removal without tools.

BTW, I have a feeling those bolts are Torx sticking to a theme, but the guy might not have known, “just a normal wrench” seems like a strange reply as they would likely work best with a socket of some kind. No?

Now I gotta buy a 4 door!

Power Sliding Top Side Window Removal Demonstration:

I know this is probably a lot to ask at this point, but I'd love to see a side shot of this with the top back and all doors and quarter panels removed. Also, any sense of when in early 2018 the power top will be available (at dealers)?

Today was like christmas when I was wishing that I was getting a super nintendo all year to instead wake up to a sega genesis...

I read the options you cannot get led's or leather on a 2 door sport. Now what to do? I mean I like the Rubicon but don't like the high fenders...i think

Katzkin offers aftermarket leather seats that can be easily installed by the dealer. That’s BS you can’t put leather on a sport.

Can you tell us what the soft top material is like? Twill like the premium top or vinyl like the standard?

Man... seems like a lot of snowflake type whining, bitching and complaining here...
As far as I'm concerned Jeep hit it out of the ballpark with this redesign. Compared to last year when most were worried that an open air Wrangler might be a thing of the past? I'm loving this....!
The JL has instantly turned the JK into an antique... in every way. For me, the best news of all is a new 6spd! The current manual is nothing but a boat anchor...
Coming up we have a diesel along with a Wrangler truck to look forward to? No complaints or nitpicking from me... all is good.

this may be a stupid question and not sure if anyone can answer it but when purchasing a sahara with the power sunroof do you also get the regular three piece hard top as well?

The power top is not removable.

More JL Tidbits:

• Full electric plug-in hybrid JL Wrangler coming in 2020.
  
• Pricing will be announced by end of the year.
• 2-door ordering begins February.
• Half doors will be available 2019. They do not come with uppers.
• Power sliding top will be available early 2018.
• Color seen at show is Hella Yella and green color is Mojito! Both will be available starting March.
• Highline fenders are standard on all U.S. Rubicon. They are 2 inches higher than standard fenders.
• 35’s fit the Rubicon without a lift and are package protected - axles can handle it, computers will compensate.
• “New” D35 axle is stronger than previous D35 with thicker tubing and stronger end forgings.
• Manual transmission is by Aisin - model D478
• Red and silver dash trims on Rubicons are dictated by the interior color selected. Black interior gets red dash and tan interior gets black dash. Sahara gets silver dash or leatherette dash. Sport gets black dash.

Welp, looks like trashing the red dash on my already ordered black interior rubi will be my first mod. Any guesses on how much $$ it will cost to switch out the dashes? I kinda like the Sahara leather

Can we get some pics of the standard and optional wheels for each trim level now? The official options list descriptions aren't very clear and we've seen so many different ones on the mules it's hard to know what the final ones are. Thanks.

So if I don't like the color of the tan seats, I'm stuck with the ugly red dash? Oh man...

Yes, this is a disaster for me.. Especially since I've already ordered. Gonna sleep on it and may just scrap my order that's already in D-1.

Anyone have any insight on how quickly these dash's can be switched out at the dealership? I'm not looking forward to showing my JK buddies my new rubicon with red dash, especially after all the hype I've been dishing out. Not hating if it's your style.. It's just not for me long term. Terrible design flaw by FCA and dash should match body color, or they should all be leather wrapped standard.
