The only way that I could possibly see the 3.0 inline 6 fitting is with only a single turbo, even then it would be a squeeze. The turbos and related plumbing for air, intercoolers and exhaust take up more space than the JL engine bay has to offer.
I was under the impression that the length of the I6 Hurricane was the issue.

They could probably work with the length if that was the only issue. But the turbos, and everything related to them, take up a huge amount of space.

Here it is in a Ram 1500 full size pickup frame.

I have been following this and other sites for months, looking for news of the 25 model changes. It seems Stella is keeping things very quiet, or maybe there is no news to speak of. We had more "leaks" ahead of the JL official debut.

I have not asked a dealer, but can you still order a 2024? It seems very late in the normal cycle.

I wonder why there has been no (or very limited) I4 available for months? Could it be they are trying to get all of the V6 moved out before not offering them in 25? Perhaps in 25 MY I4 only?

Are they holding off on 25 orders to move out unsold inventories of 24 MY? And / or parts there-of that will be obsolete in 25 MY?

It will September in 2 days. When can we know about ordering 2025?

I'm sure you have already surmised that the lack of news, equals a lack of new content. I wouldn't expect anything more than a chance of a different color. Keep checking in here if you want to order one when they open it up. But there is not going to be any new stuff, and the price is probably going to be higher.

This company has shown that they do not care about the U.S. market at all. I would not expect any significant changes at all for '25. Or '26. Or '27. And I'm betting the '28 launch of the all-new Wrangler gets delayed.

They'll probably do a couple of new colors here and there, and come up with a couple of "new" packages that just regroup existing options like they've done before, but at the end of the day the only changes will be higher base prices going forward.

As far as the 3.0 engine goes, I'm not sure what they're going to do. The 3.6 is getting old and I don't see them keeping it around forever. If they don't feel they can do the 3.0 maybe they do the 2.0 only going forward? I feel like they have to do something though. The 392 is going away, the EcoDiesel is already gone. They'll have no options that actually make power, and Ford will eat their lunch.

Um, ok... XR/ X package, U-connect redesign and front fascia uplift, factory winches, full float rear axle... all within the last two model years.

Meanwhile they dumped the Italian diesel and extended the life of the 392.

My stepmom’s girlfriend’s sister’s dog catcher told her that the JL is dead for 2025. Jeep was tired of all the bitching and decided to throw in the towel. It’s Compass- and Recon-only from here on out.

But, Ford! But, Toyota! I'm going to bitch about Jeep neglecting "real" off-road enthusiasts and then go buy something stupid with IFS and a turbo-4.
