Does anyone know what the typical difference is between invoice and msrp? Or does it vary so much that there is no typical?
Every option has a different markup, so it's challenging to ballpark. It also varies year to year. But like @Take57 said: it's typically something like 6%.

Wrangler leases are at an all-time high with these newly rolled out jacked-up money factors, as well as the recent reduction and or removal of incentives and rebates. Imagine Stellantis doing this in August and when most Jeep dealership lots are filled with unsold Wranglers, and with 2025 models around the corner. Dealers would have to offer 20% off MSRP discounts to offset this insanity which is not feasible, of course.

what's up everyone. I'm so curious on how everyone has been able to get the %'s off invoice mentioned on the spreadsheets. I'm in California and not many dealers here offer much below MSRP or they try to tack on additional charges for protection plans and what not. I have ThreadLightly and trying to get a Rubicon 4XE X. Based on what I can decipher, invoice on that is around $68,267 (let me know if I'm off on this) so 6% off invoice would be $62K. Does that make sense?

thanks in advance!
Call Tuttle Click in Irvine and ask for Sale Manager Rob Trachtman. 4% under invoice as of last October. Only $79 doc fee and nothing else.

I really want to understand the logic behind this move. I would assume improved incentives with end of summer and labor day coming....unless they make a mid-month adjustment. Maybe its a case of taking it away for a month and putting it back on to say "oh look, new incentives".

Just wanted to give a shout out to Brian from Koons. Just placed my order for a ’24 Willys and the ordering process was awesome! 9% below invoice with TL membership, plus any incentives at delivery! highly recommend if you’re close to MD.

There will be new lease incentives on 4XE tomorrow 8/20) will update everyone as soon as I see the new program in its entirety. It should be really good especially for someone who wants to lease, to get all the incentives, and then buy it out and keep it!

It's funny, I came here to see if there would be an update as the estimated lease costs vanished from the Jeep site tonight, which usually indicates that new numbers and programs are coming out soon, probably overnight.

I hope the lease programs and incentives are good because I've been holding out on ordering a '24 4xe, and still kicking myself for missing some very good lease incentives and rebates in June.

Also waiting to see new lease incentives. I'm ready to pull the trigger on a 4xe White High Altitude but gun shy waiting to see if incentives get better. Best quote I have is 36mo/10k miles with 1st payment plus 10% down = $631.36/mo. If any dealers in DC or Baltimore area can beat let me know.

I'm honestly losing hope on the Jeep. From what I have read on other forums, rumor (again, just a rumor) is that Jeep is going to stop the $7,500 rebate as well after labor day due to a change in strategy (whatever that means). Again, taken with a grain of salt as it could all be nonsense. Not sure if anyone else has any other info?

Looks like the lease estimator is back up on the Jeep build site and the numbers are looking very bad, even worse than they were in early August.

The $7,500 rebate is still intact, but there are no other rebates or incentives and it looks like MFs have gone up again even though they were already set too high a couple of weeks ago.

I am hoping that this is a fluke and will be corrected as they are still rolling things out because there is no way anyone will pay $1,300 per month for a Rubicon X 4xe. Insanity. You can get a number of high-end luxury SUVs for that price or a similarly equipped Bronco for way less.

Apparently Stellantis' goal is to keep all those unsold Wranglers on dealer's lots for as long as possible, or push people to finance (even though their interest rate for financing is also too high). Unless rebates and incentives will be rolled out only for the finance option.

I hope this isn't where the numbers will stay through September because once the 2025's come out, I don't think things will look much better in terms of rebates and incentives for a brand new model year.

Again, hopefully this is just a fluke as they continue to update the new program.

Hello everyone,

Shopping for a new Gladiator 6MT, preferably a Mojave. There are none in my local area (Colorado Springs), so hoping that one of the dealers on here can help me out with a great price.

I am willing to wait for a build if I have to go that route.

I have shopped around dealers on the east coast, but they are offering MSRP with the $3,250 rebate and stating other discounts do not apply since I am out-of-state.

Thank you

I would recommend building out your desired Gladiator via Jeeps website/Build&Price, taking a screenshot showing all options, cw, etc. Then you can reach out to some of the dealers on the list via email with your desired build and zip code/state. Most people on this forum go with Mark Dodge, Gupton or Granger. All dealers on the list. I went with Mark Dodge with my current order and it has been straight-forward.

First get Tread Lightly.

Then, if you want to buy locally, use my spreadsheet as leverage and find one that accepts Tread Lightly. That gives you a minimum of 1% below invoice.

Otherwise contact some on the spreadsheet to get quotes.

This is a consolidation of the details spread throughout the Dealers % Below Invoice Thread. Please post updates either here or on that thread, mention @Ratbert, and I'll update the spreadsheet as soon as possible.

Affiliate Discounts:
  • Up to an additional 1% below invoice.
  • It's highly recommended to sign up for Tread Lightly
    • An affiliate discount that's easy to get ($100) even if you're not otherwise eligible.
    • 1% below invoice from most local dealerships (ask them) even if they don't typically do below invoice pricing.
    • Additional 1% below invoice for many of the dealerships on the spreadsheet.
    • Must sign up 30 days before you drive the Wrangler off the lot.
    • Usually only applicable to custom orders.
  • Discussed here.
  • Important restrictions detailed by @AnthonyRI here.
The recommended approach when looking for a dealership is to simply call them and tell them that you found out about their below-invoice pricing through JL Wrangler Forums.

Thanks to @12psi for keeping the order guide with invoice pricing up to date.

My Venmo if you'd like to say "Thanks!": https://www.venmo.com/u/RatbertOnTheRocks. Sometimes it asks for a code. That's 4011.
I live in Laredo, TX and contacted Lonestar Jeep in San Antonio. They quoted me at MSRP and wanted $3,000 down (non refundable) for a custom order... Southpoint Dodge in Austin quoted me at invoice and wanted $2,000 down for a custom order. After contacting several other dealerhips, I went with Mark Dodge in Lake Charles, LA.

Thanks, I've updated the deposit numbers. I'm wondering if there's someone special that has to be contacted to get those deals or if I should simply remove those dealerships.
