Hows their traction in the dry though?
I mean I don't have a 392 worth of power but with my old Cooper Discoverer ATs I was able to constantly break traction in my 2.0T and had to be careful in the rain on off ramps. I'm about 9k miles into the Baja Bosses and I can gun it in the dry and there's no wheel spin.

Very noticeable upgrade in traction in both wet and dry.

I haven't done any serious offroading with them, but in the Pine Barrens they do great in the mud puddles and sand.

I also think visually they're one of the best looking AT tires at the moment.

Lol I'll definitely check them out. Its going to come down to what's better in the snow/mud the k02 or Baja and I'll go with one. Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

Goodyear Dura Trac. Feel like they were called Duratrac before, but whatever. Great in the snow, if I go back to the east coast that's what I'm switching to.

Continental DWS Extreme Contact.

Preferred rubber on my WRX and Outback in Delaware and Illinois climate. Best option short of running a summer and winter set.

But, I don't think they make them in the right size for a Wrangler.

Goodyear Duratracs are the most common up north here on Jeeps and Commercial trucks, ambulances etc.

Love the look of the duratracs but they are the stockers on my AT4 and my buddies f250 tremor and they are a little to loud.

The falken Wildpeak AT3W are the best I have tried here in upstate NY trying Patagonias MT02 now but I doubt they will be as good in all conditions.

I am eventually going to need new tires. The stock C Rated 35's BFG K02's have done really well but of course doesn't hurt to research and get feedback from the experts.

Having a 392 I feel the BFG's actually do pretty well in the dry and have good grip on acceleration and handling a turn here and there. Due to that reason I am thinking the best replacement may simply be a new set of the C rated K02's. I was hoping by the time I am ready that there are new K03's ready and even better than the current K02's.

What do you guys think is best for a daily driver that seems a good amount of rain/mud/snow but also summer weather when maybe it's fun to have a little accelerations at time. :)

I have an ecodiesel Rubicon and find that the K02s are great in snow, ice , and off-road. I’ve also had them on duramax chev 3/4 ton 4x4 and they were great there too
. I have no reason to try anything else.

Most threads say KO2s will not be as good in rain or snow as other ATs. They are fine but you can do better.
I had better traction in rain with the Falkens AT3s than with KO2s. Falkens have done great in snow, haven’t tried the KO2s but again most people say there are better options.
KO2s are decently quiet and good on dry pavement… but you don’t live in Phoenix.

I would try the Falkens, Toyo AT3, ridge grappler. Really the tire to beat right now is the Mickey Thompson AT, no bad reviews on those.
No matter what I’d get a 3PMS or 3 peak mountain snowflake tire for the snow. R/T and for sure M/T tires won’t fare as well d/t less siping.

What I'm hearing is the OP likes to use his 392 on road. This is where on on-road AT really does better. Don't get me wrong, KO2's are great, but they have more off-road manners than they do on-road.

The downside with an on-road AT or even an aggressive "all-season" tire is you lose the aggressive look. Examples of these would be the Wrangler Adventure or even Workhorse. If you want to have even better road contact, go with something like a Michelin LTX AT. They'll do better in wet conditions on the road, too.

I would not recommend a Wrangler Dura Trac, having had a set for 10 years and 60k miles on my last Jeep. Great tires -- for mostly off road and snow, less behaved on the street, and noisier than a KO2.. They're more aggressive imo than a KO/KO2. It's an older design. If you still want aggressive, I'd say compare with the Wrangler Ultra Terrain which is a modern iteration of the Dura Trac and more like a KO2.

falken Wildpeak AT3W work well for me. Have them on both the Jeep and my 4Runner. I like them very much in snow rain!
