Update: I haven’t installed or received mine yet. But I found this from the JT forum https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/my-journey-from-a-5-to-7-uconnect.66355/page-2

So i’m gonna set it dual ATC and let it sit. But it appears temp control will just be cold or hot. So it’s gonna be an endeavor.

One more question, are there any settings and stacks that work to control temp without sensors? Cause right now the temp on my screen isn’t an actual number but color slider.

Thanks for confirming. That is exactly what I’m doing now.

Apparently temp control is only hot or cold but i’m still gonna just try to leave it overnight as single mtc. Keep us posted.

When did the 7in radio become standard on the base sport?

I have a theory that the new center stack might be updated in the canbus if that makes sense and thus might work as single zone mtc. Depending what year the jeep a radio came from.

They ditched the 5” in 2022 if I’m not mistaken.

Good news. With new stack and dual zone ATC programming and several sleep cycles, everything except max AC button works for me. Looks like I even have temperature control, not Just High and Low.

Awesome thanks for the update. I’m gonna mess with the settings when I get mine and try to get the max ac button to work. If not I can most definitely live without it.

Did you have a chance to install yours? I have a strange problem. It looks like this new center stack messes with our hybrid drive somehow. With new stack installed engine does not stop during vehicle stop. And I had a hybrid drive error code stored. Also it felt like my fuel consumption went up couple of MPG. After I installed an old center stack, everything went back to normal.
BTW I have 2.0L too

Button for start-stop turns on and off normally, but auto start-stop did not work, engine did not turn off during stop. Dont remember the error code # but it was something like "hybrid drive: implausible data"

What’d it say on the dash?

I’m gonna try today and leave it as single MTC and just let it do a few cycles.

Nothing. No check engine light, no messages.
Wait but where’d you get the error?

On the screen that says start stop status? like ready or cabin heating/cooling?
