I am having the same issue. Did the battery change solve the issue. I have the original battery it's a 2018.
@Ahb

You have 2 batteries on your 2018 JL.

The batteries(2) on your 2018 JL have aged out.... they need replacement. Replace both (2) batteries.

Do not just replace the Main battery that you see in the engine compartment.

Not true about batteries! My dealer had to rewire electrical connections under the fuse box due to corrosion! At least that is the lie I was sold. For a tune of $800! Same model year 2018

coincidentally the same price as replacing both batteries. Gee, what are the odds.

Can anyone tell me if the 2 battery replacement or correcting the connections under the fuse box corrected the problem? My 2018 jeep has been at the dealer for a month as it continues to have engine light, anti-lock brake and other codes happen. Help!!

Since you have had your jeep at the dealer for a month, what remedies have they tried? Without knowing if they replaced your batteries, or even tested them, or if they did any wire chasing in the engine compartment it's really hard to even begin to advise you on what it may be. You say it continues to have the lights. Have they worked on it previously for the same issue? If so, what did they do?

If a dealer worked on your jeep for a month, the labor charges would be near the national debt. No doubt it's been sitting in their back lot for most of that time.

I am beginning to wonder if there are different symptoms to a battery issue. I had the service start stop error when the auxiliary battery failed the first time. I changed both batteries and all was well--for just over a year. Then the service start/stop light came on again and shortly thereafter the check engine light came on and the engine began running really rough.

Made it home and the codes thrown were related to the left engine bank running lean. I tested both batteries and the auxiliary was bad. Replaced it again, cleared the codes, and it worked ok for about a month then the same thing repeated.

I disconnected the negative battery cable, pulled Fuse 42 and thus far everything has been fine since then. I need more run time to be sure the auxiliary was the issue, but for me, I am done with the auxiliary battery. It will stay disconnected at this point.

There's a component on the battery cable named an Intelligent Battery Sensor (?) or such. My recollection is that component has some sort of memory that should be cleared by either crossing the positive and negative cables (disconnected from the battery(s), of course) or by disconnecting all power from the batteries for some period of time.

We own a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL and while driving had a number of the sensor lights go off on the dashboard. We lost power steering and our brakes became difficult to use. The dashboard lit up with every possible sensor going off including airbags, Service Electronic Stability Control, Check engine, ABS, brake light, etc. When we stopped the Jeep and shut it off and turned it back on, we could not shift the Jeep out of Park into Reverse or Drive, the shifter was stuck. We shut the car off again and turned it back on and the Jeep was ok but the check engine light would not go out. This has happened twice and Jeep is unsure why. My son drives the Jeep and I'm concerned this will happen while i'm not there and could cause an accident. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I've included videos of the dash so that you can see what is happening. Thank you.

.
Welcome to the club! So If by any chance you figure this out please post here. I have been dealing with this for about a month Now and No answers. You will see change your main battery, change your aux battery, change your shifter, make sure all fuses under hood and behind dashboard, and many more things to try and waste your time. But they are not the real fix. There is something electrical wrong with theses Jeeps. I have heard stupid things like its your left kit. No It isnt I have been left for three plus years so u tell me it now effected my Jeep. Thats bs because Ive seen brand new Jeeps with this same problem so. Like I said good luck and let us all know what the real fix is. Short video of the same thing happening to my Jeep. Also have like 18 error codes but only three mean anything.

It is all Bs nobody wants to fix this problem I’m so sick of it. And its not an easy fix like the battery. I have been searching for a month and still have no answers, and at this point I’m going to stop Throwing Money away to maybe fix something thats not the problem or needed to be touch by anybody. I have tried about ten different fixes and nothing has work so now Everytime I go out to start my Jeep I prey to whoever is listening that I can put My Jeep i to Drive and get going. Also give myself about an extra 30 minutes to go anywhere just in case She don't shift out of Park. It seems that the real and only thing that is working for me is(((take off the Negative battery connector and let the Jeep sit for about 5 minutes, reattach than start and drive away.))))

the dealership replaced the vacuum pump, pressure checked all the hoses, replaced vacuum pump relay. Main battery is about 1 yr old, the second battery is original (I believe). I picked the vehicle up from dealership yesterday, drove through car wash, went into store, when I started the vehicle to leave, the car began dinging .. engine light, abs, wipers turned on, radio, traction control, tire pressures, etc all were popping up on dash.
This started with engine light and abs lights on and I did exactly what the original person did.. pulled off road, shut off , was unable to get vehicle out of park, waited a while longer, then restarted and it allowed me to shift into drive. I suggested to dealership the batteries be checked and the corroded lines into the relay/fuse panel as mentioned by other responses.. any other suggestions are greatly appreciated..

Try deleting your Aux battery and see if that clears things up. If the Aux is original and your jeep is an '18, it is way overdue for replacement. Hopefully it is the easy fix and not something worse, but I would try the free easy fix first before I kept taking a Jeep with a bad Aux back to the dealer over and over. Deleting the Aux is easy, takes about 5 minutes.
