Hope she fits! This is how much spare room (hair over 6.5”, total garage height 81 1/4”) I have to play with to be able to fit in the garage with my current stock Jeep. Going with the Mopar lift and expecting 3” of lift. Installing 37” Load C Ko2, so on the smaller end. I think I should have at least an inch to spare when done.

Jeep in its current configuration.

Don’t have the tires on yet. But hope she will fit when installed.

Suspension is still fresh, so will settle a bit.

Cannot tell how your garage door is set with the top of your garage door header. Looks as if your garage door can raise a little more. Just need to reset the opening limits.

Since I’m just renting a room, that’s probably not an option. Probably be renting an apartment and parking it outside within the next couple months. But currently, it has to stay in the garage because of some type of HOA rule.

Thanks!
It rides ok as far as taking bumps but I’m not close to being finished with the suspension. I’m waiting on control arms, track bars, DB3 and alignment brackets, etc from MetalCloak. Still waiting on rear tire carrier, front bumper and winch. When it’s complete, I’m sure it will ride even better as the springs need a little weight to work as designed. I’m really light right now and you can feel it but I was anxious to see the tires under it.

Can you fit 37” on a sport with just a 1” spacer lift and remove the fender liner/get low profile finders and liners? Lifted the jeep once with a RK 2.5 adventure series. Did it ourselves and had three off-road shops check it out but still death wobbled. The place we bought it from had nine or so returns on that model by that point in the year and this was in February, so, obviously trying to stay away from a lift at this point in time. Fun thing we learned:
Each trim, door #, and engine has their own set of springs for all four corners with different rates on each corner. RK sent four springs with one rate for the front and one for the back. Curious if jeep does that to “de-equalize” any harmonic motion in the steering and suspension to keep it from wobbling 🤷🏻‍♂️
The death wobble may not have necessarily been the lift. I'm not sure about 37's with just a 1" spacer. It seems like that would be still tight on a sport.

Well, I have the suspension finished but it now has even less weight as I took off the stock spare. Bumper is ordered and CavFab tire carrier is at the powder coater and I threw everything from 80 mph freeway to 35 mph hilly and curvy backroads and I’m not enjoying the front springs. It feels like a 3/4 ton suspension up front with 1/2 ton springs in the back. I thought about waiting until it’s completely finished to make up my mind but when I set my 275 pound ass on the front bumper, I only compress the front end 1/4 to 3/8 inch. When I stand on the hitch, I compress it 3/4 to 7/8”. I ordered MetalCloak front dual rate springs to try and see if I get a better ride.

FYI, I had this exact same problem on my 2 door. See my post here.

TLDR: I swapped front springs from Clayton 2.5 to Rock Krawler 2.5 and am much happier.
