  1. Wisconsin Exact Center Steering Stabilizer- 160# - $300

Brand new 160# Exact Center for the JL. It was a warranty replacement from March 2023, but I decided to go a different route so it's never been installed. $300 Shipped (Cont. US)
  2. What did you do to your 2dr today?

Yep. Admittedly at a bad angle because my slanted driveway. I am 1” higher at the rear of the rubi slider than the front of it.
  3. What did you do to your 2dr today?

Not doing as much heavy loaded travel this year so decided to swap out the Clayton 2.5" rear springs for some Rock Krawler 2.5" rear springs. Well that didn't work too well... too much squat. Swapped again to some Rock Krawler 3.5" rear springs, lost the squat, and got the 1" rake back that I...
  4. Looking for pics of 2 door on 37's or larger with 17" wheels

FYI, I had this exact same problem on my 2 door. See my post here. TLDR: I swapped front springs from Clayton 2.5 to Rock Krawler 2.5 and am much happier.
  5. 4740 lbs on scale today

Finally got an empty weight (full tank, no driver)... 4940 lbs! A cool 718 lbs over the "official" empty weight of 2 Door Rubicon, noted earlier. Very well. Never lacked power and the Clayton / Elka suspension held it's own while canyon carving. :) Noticeable impact at highway speeds...
  6. 2.0T Muffler delete?

In some environments, sure. Up here where it's mud in the summer and salt in the winter, nah. It just builds up and wreaks even worse havoc.
  7. 2.0T Muffler delete?

Love my S-Type Climber! They're not kidding about the No Drone too. Cleans up the rear-end very nicely and now my compressor and battery in the storage cubby don't hit 100+ degrees on long drives.
  8. What did you do to your 2dr today?

Nah, just have to have springs that match your load. The Clayton springs are pretty stiff in the rear so they handle it no problem. I've got ~6.0" of rear bump travel at normal load (empty rear / full tailgate) and ~3.0" of rear bump travel at max load (full rear / full tailgate). My max load...
  9. What did you do to your 2dr today?

Is the concern weight on those hinges or weight overall? Wheeled all over Colorado with the weight of 37's, AAL STP rack, water, fuel, and recovery boards with no issues on this Maximus-3 tailgate on my 2 door. Not saying one person's experience is the rule or anything, however.
  10. Exact Center is a steering stabilizer new for Jeeps

Yep, Tony sent it pretty much right away and it's already on and working great. Zero hassle. :) Edited original post to reflect.
  11. Exact Center is a steering stabilizer new for Jeeps

Well, I'm ready to post my review on this. I've had my Exact Center for about 6,000 miles now. Some of that one was one big trip wheeling around Colorado for two weeks. In that time, I've had some thoughts... The prerequisite: Death wobble (and other minor wobble) needs to fixed FIRST. With my...
  12. What did you do to your 2dr today?

I have been very happy with them. I've had them on previous vehicles, specifically for the aluminum bodies.... never have to worry about them rusting which is particularly important where I live. Their specified lift range is a bit off, but if you pay attention to their collapsed/extended...
  13. What did you do to your 2dr today?

Installed the Borla Climber for the 2.0L 2 Door. Easy install… instructions went a little overkill like removing the crossmember which I didn’t do. Will have more impressions after getting some longer seat time. Initial feedback is that it’s definitely louder at idle and acceleration, but not...
  14. Fox Reservoir Shocks - Front Reservoir Mounting Locations

Ok, not Fox… but this is how Elka implemented their mount, in case it gives you any ideas:
  15. 4740 lbs on scale today

Fully loaded (2 adults, 2 big dogs, 2 weeks of gear, fridge, tent, etc) my 2 door came in, surprisingly, at almost 6k. It adds up fast. I need to get an empty weight soon and see how much junk we actually brought. (from another thread)
  16. What did you do to your 2dr today?

Swapped out @Clayton Off Road 2.5" front springs for some @Rock Krawler Suspension 2.5" front springs. I'm certainly not discounting the Clayton's, they've been a great product and I love the entire rest of the kit. The Clayton's were just too stiff for my 2 door up front. Perhaps the 2.0T +...
  17. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Prototyped a new location for my air supply. I took @Metalcloak's Tow Wiring Skid Plate and flipped it to the other side. One of two holes is already mirrored here from the factory, so only had to drill the other one. Next, a simple plate and some rivet nuts over top of where the the tow wiring...
  18. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I will work on it! For now, I'll leave you with these even worse garage shots.
  19. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Wrapped up the install of the aluminum Next Venture Motorsports Rear Featherweight Bumper and Diode Dynamics SSC2. Then immediately proceeded to forget to take clean pictures and got it dirty. I wish I took pictures with the parking lights on... the red backlighting of SSC2 is really nice!
  20. ALUMINUM bumpers ONLY. Let's see them!

Couple more finished pics. Wired the red backlight from the Diode Dynamics SSC2 to what was once the license plate light. Perhaps next up is to consider doing away with that ugly muffler.
