I run the on the middle setting on the road and the softest setting off-road. The ride quality is a performance feel, it's firm but not stuff and body roll and nose dive is way better. Washboards are much better and don't beat you up. I do think they pair best with a linear spring.

Yeah its been known to be an issue. You can just bypass around it and be done with it. When mine died I deleted it and never put another back. It's a waste of time. They can't even get the secondary battery right and they want you to buy their hybrid....not a chance.

its a solid axle vehicle - its always going to drive like a truck. Equinox is more car than it is suv and it's independent front suspension so it should handle and ride a bit better. The two vehicles are really as different as comparing a car to a truck. To me the stock shocks are too soft...

Most of my jeeps have been manuals but the JL just felt more car like. My daily is still a manual because I love driving one I just wasn't a fan of the manual they put in the jl

Jeep quality issues aside I feel like if you can swing it I think it's one of if not the best model to buy.

Really depends on your appetite to wear out large mud tires for daily driving. You'll replace stuff like ball-joints and rod ends faster but it's not horrible and def something you'd end up doing down the line anyway. Mine isn't a daily but it could easily be one if I needed it to. I ran load...

I usually buy Wix from Oreilly's line of stuff. I change out the cabin and the box together usually. I have an AFE dry washable filter currently.

Cant say I'm surprised. The jeep prices have inflated like crazy and people are less likely to drop 70k on a gladiator with a 3.6 pentastar in it.
