  1. OPINION? Are falcon 3.3 shocks overated?

Ride quality is so subjective. It's a performance shock and by nature will be more firm but mine are not harsh at all. If your looking for a soft plush ride the factory shocks are squishy and comfortable but you get tons of body roll and nose dive which the falcons eliminate and they won't...
  2. Falcon 3.3 shocks blown seals

I run the on the middle setting on the road and the softest setting off-road. The ride quality is a performance feel, it's firm but not stuff and body roll and nose dive is way better. Washboards are much better and don't beat you up. I do think they pair best with a linear spring.
  3. Strike Four, You're OUT

Yeah its been known to be an issue. You can just bypass around it and be done with it. When mine died I deleted it and never put another back. It's a waste of time. They can't even get the secondary battery right and they want you to buy their hybrid....not a chance.
  4. Smoother ride opinions?

its a solid axle vehicle - its always going to drive like a truck. Equinox is more car than it is suv and it's independent front suspension so it should handle and ride a bit better. The two vehicles are really as different as comparing a car to a truck. To me the stock shocks are too soft...
  5. Jeep Cuts Pricing (and/or Adding More Standard Content)!

not enough discount that would make me want to buy one I'm sure. Especially at the current interest rates!
  6. Jeep Cuts Pricing (and/or Adding More Standard Content)!

A 2024 with the same features of my 2019 is almost 10k more than I paid in 2019 IF I paid msrp which I didn't. Its 14k more than what I actually paid in 2019. It's no wonder they are losing sales. What use to be a good value for a fun get out there vehicles is in a different price league. 2...
  7. We want to hear from you!

I wont be buying another wrangler (I'm on #6) until the current issues get better quality control and prices come back down to earth.
  8. The V6 Automatic Is Coming

Most of my jeeps have been manuals but the JL just felt more car like. My daily is still a manual because I love driving one I just wasn't a fan of the manual they put in the jl
  9. Am I remembering correctly? Wasn't the Wrangler often pitched as a good "second vehicle"?

I own a 2 door jeep with no back seat 90% of the time and a car with only 2 seats both of which most people would say aren't a "daily" but to that a say 🖕
  10. First time Jeep buyer - is 392 too much?

Jeep quality issues aside I feel like if you can swing it I think it's one of if not the best model to buy.
  11. Which one would you choose?

lol, was just going to say the hoods on most are aluminum and others steel.....hence all the galvanic corrosion issues they have had. I feel like this place is turning into facebook with all the terrible info people pass around.
  12. 37s too big for DD?

Really depends on your appetite to wear out large mud tires for daily driving. You'll replace stuff like ball-joints and rod ends faster but it's not horrible and def something you'd end up doing down the line anyway. Mine isn't a daily but it could easily be one if I needed it to. I ran load...
  13. Jeep Dog pics

My co pilots for the trip
  14. The UAW strikes against the Big 3 [ADMIN WARNING: NO INSULTS, NO POLITICS]

Which is probably 90% of wrangler owners do. I'd venture to say a large portion of Rubicon owners never even turn on the lockers. They just want something that looks the part.
  15. Best Air Filter at O'Reilley or Autozone?

They prob gave you the JK version since the JK and JL were both produced as a 2018 model.
  16. Jeep and Merrell announce a limited-edition hiking boot and a Wrangler giveaway

Just replaced my 8 year old Merrell hiking/jeeping boots with a pair of Lowa renegades and just in time it looks like :) Little much for me but I'm sure they will sell a ton of them.
  17. Best Air Filter at O'Reilley or Autozone?

I usually buy Wix from Oreilly's line of stuff. I change out the cabin and the box together usually. I have an AFE dry washable filter currently.
  18. Gladiator (DEEP) discounts

Cant say I'm surprised. The jeep prices have inflated like crazy and people are less likely to drop 70k on a gladiator with a 3.6 pentastar in it.
