Looks like a nice addition to your shop, not sure about trail use since it takes up quite a bit more room, but cool review there!
I’m pretty sure I’m going to be doing a bit of hacking up to reconfigure the handles and air fittings to make it more compact.
I also have an interior cargo rack that may get slightly modified to have a permanent place for the jack to sit that can be securely held in position.

So I just received the air jack. I tested it by lifting the rear axle of the Jeep and was pleasantly surprised.
I put the jack on a piece of 4x6 lumber and it lifted the axle high enough to show about 2” under the 37” tire in under a minute just using the twin ARB onboard compressor and a bit faster using my shop 5hp 60 gallon compressor.
The jack weighs in at 35 lbs and isn’t horribly large.
I think I may modify the handles to make it more compact and will pick up a couple of 3’ whip hoses to make it easier to control without having to reach under the vehicle

I did the same with my BAOSHISHAN 4 Ton Bottle Jack 10-5/8" to 24" Lifting Range High Lift Double Ram Bottle Jack when it arrived. But then I got a flat and discovered 10 5/8" wouldn't fit under the axle with a flat tire. I drove over a rock to lift it an inch then fixed the flat. Now I carry Camco Stabilizer Jack Pads.

How does it work with a flat tire?

The compressed height of the jack is about 5-1/2” and fully extended is about 15-1/2” according to the specs but I’ll confirm those numbers. Theoretically the jack should still fit under the axle even with a completely flat tire.

How’s this holding up? I need to add a jack to my recovery/off-road setup. Looking at a double ram bottle jack originally then the Safe Jack but this pneumatic one just came up on my radar. I have 37’s and a minimally heavy 20 JLU. I also have onboard air via ARB Twin. Looking for real world experience on this with a lifter Jeep vs only Amazon reviews. Thanks

It works great. It’s obviously not as stable as a real floor jack but then neither is a bottle jack.
I also have the ARB twin and it has zero problems supplying enough air to get both rear tires off the ground.
I do plan on cutting a few pieces of 3/4” plywood to place under the jack to get ot closer to the axle before inflating it.

No I completely understand, I’d never expect it to be as stable as a floor Jack. But this compared to a double ram bottle jack or a high lift jack it seems like a great option.

Thanks again for your input it’s greatly appreciated!

It looks like the handles can be removed easily? If so, would it fit under the rear seats in a JLU? I have an onboard ARB twin as well, and would like to carry some sort of bottle/pneumatic jack that stores easily under the seat if possible. We try to keep as many things out of sight, especially when traveling.

That would be quite the missile in a wreck or rollover if not secured down.

I’ll remove the handles and try it under the seat later today and let you know.
My plan is to also trim the base a bit and extend the air valves to the ends of 3-4’ air hoses to avoid having to reach under the vehicle to operate the jack.

Definitely interested in how @Vinman makes out. In the same boat as others with wanting to get a jack but I have onboard air and this seems like a great option.

Carrying a hi-lift jack and asking about a bottle jack

Another head scratcher is using an air jack off road that only provides about 2" of clearance above a flat garage floor is :headbang:

Besides being a great high-quality jack, the Sprinter van bottle jack is relatively compact, especially considering its lift height and capacity.

This looks interesting…

That's a great double ram. Should have kept mine when I sold my sprinter. I'm guess it fit under the axle with a flat tire.

A double Ram is the only way to go. I carry the BAOSHISHAN 4 ton in my JLR on 38's and my LJR on 43's.
you need to drive over a rock or a 2x6 to get it to fit under the axle. It stows safely under the seat where it can't become a missile and kill someone. I also carry these jack pads that work.

But the last 3 flats in our group, I've used my 2.5 ton scissor jack and drive it up with my impact wrench. That also stows away under the seat.

Joe, does that scissor jack fit in the OEM jack location?
