Hi guys,

Can you recommend a basic bottle jack to cary along for a Rubicon JL on the trails.
Currently on stock 33's but will move to 35's eventually.
Just need something that has the reach and is reliable. I've looked up online reviews but prefer to hear from people with real experience.

- I'm aware of Safe Jack but it's more than I need. I do take a Hi-Lift with me when off-road but that's only getting unstuck etc, I just want to take a basic bottle jack with me for most situation where I may need to lift.

Thanks.

Ditto on previous comments. The extra reach and support of that jack is nice compared to a regular bottle jack and the price is fair. Also got mine from Tractor Supply.

Your post title asks for the best, but then you say that you don’t want the best one because it’s “too much” for you???

My original post does not say that I don’t want the best option so you’ve misquoting.

Best = most suitable to my needs. Most expensive does not always equate “best”.

I have these on my radar: https://safejacks.com/
I took a look at the safe jack and I am not seeing the true safety advantage. I will agree that the jack pads are nice but being pinned under a failed hyd jack with a jack pad on it would only be discussed at our funeral. It also seems a little pricey for what you get. Nothing there has a big cost to make. especially in China. Just my opinion.
