I have not used a hi lift and figure most have used a bottle jack at some point.
So if the ARB was around $400 why would you go for that over a bottle jack?

The ARB is much more versatile than a bottle jack. It also looked more stable, especially with a base. Also, seems to store much smaller than you would think.

Nice I will probably add it to the inventory eventually, but I know most people carry a bottle jack regardless because not every vehicle is capable of using the ARB or a hi-lift jack system. So at the end of the day, Iā€™ll probably end up going with both options but Iā€™ll stick with my bottle jack for now :)

Bottle jacks are great tools, and I carry one in my pickup but, for the Jeep, I prefer the combination of the HiLift and the ARB exhaust jack.

Yeah I watched a few videos where it kind of went through all three of them and I think at the end of the day I can see owning each one.

Yea. Which combination makes most sense is a function of where youā€™re jeeping most of the time. In loose sand the exhaust jack is a no-brainer, unless you have a dual exhaust and no other way to inflate it. The high-lift jacks can be pretty scary in some applications, but theyā€˜re also very versatile and capable. Like most things, itā€™s a trade-off, and carrying everything isnā€˜t practical due to space and weight constraints.

Great point! Luckily I do have my trailer I can throw the additional pieces inside.

Stopped carrying HiLift years ago, use 6,000 lbs UniJack instead.
Wide base, adjustable extension, locks like a jack stand, easy bottle jack operation, storage footprint much reduced, safe operation.
