Added the Seat Jacker Shorties to the driver’s side. I’m 6’2”. Will have to drive around to see how they do on longer drives but first impression is the seat bottom tilt back feel good. Only concern is the top of my head is a pretty close to the B pillar sound bar if I recline the seat a bit.

And for those that were wondering if the the Jackers are compatible with the Epic Kraken air inflation system… Yep!

Same issue I’m trying to fix. Let me know if you ever see the issue again. I probably won’t address it until the next major sale (Black Friday) but will try to hold solar panel route to act as a trickle charge to offset the RSE sliders constantly draining battery
Certainly will, yup the dual battery system is a little pricey but IMO way worth it for the reliability. You could also try something like a NOCO 10 for a trickle charge.

Finished up my bumper/winch install today. Did all the final bolting and tightening yesterday. Then this morning pulled passenger-side fender/liner and ran cables up through wheel well... Connected the Warn Power interrupt kit solenoid and made everything live today. Everything works great.

Added Iphone charger. Ran wire behind dash from media hub usb. Of course now my carplay wireless adapter has a hard time figuring if it wants to turn on or not when plugged into usb 2 port. That's a tomorrow job to figure out.

Is that a DYI bracket for the solenoid?

No and yes. Started with this off Amazon, then drilled the appropriate holes, hit it with plasti-dip then again with FlexSeal. It's very sturdy.

My RSE slider/steps I thinks drain my battery where my Aux buttons don’t work for a bit. I’m wondering if the genesis dual kit will fix that or if the Cascadia hood solar panel is a better bet
If your RSE sliders are really draining your battery then there's something wrong. There should only be a miniscule drain for the LED.

I’m not sure what else it could be besides an issue with the tazer which I no longer keep plugged in. I had a dead battery once after not driving for 4 days and the tazer was plugged in. Now if I don’t drive for a day or two I get the Aux buttons not available until charged error message.

The RSE steps are the only thing connected that doesn’t require the ignition being on. RSE sent me a switch that goes near the in line fuse that they say is for long periods of not starting the vehicle so you don’t need to pull the fuse. I only take this to mean there is a decent draw on the battery.

Wish there was a way to figure it out. I have the 3.6 e torque so no Aux battery issues. I guess I could have a defective battery. The only other option is to unmarry the tazer, update it, and see if the problem persists

Finished my FTM-400 install...

Had to fabricate a bracket for under the passenger seat. Worked out very well.

Passenger side firewall is no joke but the extra wire channel keeps everything clean

Ran all the antenna cables nicely within the pannels.

The antenna folds over nicely and found a cable stay at home depot that secures the antenna to the spare tire carrier

Not sure what I’m looking at but is that a red electrical wire against a threaded stud? Hope I am not understanding.

Do you still get the drain when using that RSE switch?

I originally went this route, but didn't like the "raised" feeling. I liked the angle of the dangle so I removed the front spacer and went this route instead.
Jeep Wrangler JL What did you do TO your Jeep JL today? Resized_20230202_203941

Drilled 2 holes 1 inch apart.
Jeep Wrangler JL What did you do TO your Jeep JL today? Resized_20230202_204513

Used the holes as a guideline to cut the bracket in half.

Then I lined the holes up and bolted the bracket back together.

DIY seat slammer, for the price of a little bit of hardware.

Got the angle I wanted and now I don't feel like I sit up too high.
