I bought a 2 door soft top my wife does not love, until she used it one day when it was 80 degrees out and in bikini mode with the half doors. She has since changed her tune.

My wife drove my Jeep to work yesterday, probably one of the only 2-3 times she’s driven it in the 18 months I’ve owned (leased) it, and she drove my 2018 JLU Sport about as often in the 3 years I had that. Anyways, she was an OG Jeep girl, she had two XJ Cherokees (‘89 and a beautiful ‘00 Classic) and then a 2005 KJ Liberty. But since then she’s had two Acura SUVs including her current 2022 MDX and I asked her how driving my Jeep was. She was like “it was terrible! It’s the least comfortable, most rough riding car ever and it jerked every time I hit a bump on the highway!” Yeah baby, and your MDX put me to sleep when I was driving it around for you yesterday. The fact that she hates my Jeep is a feature, not a flaw, I don’t want her taking it for herself ?

She buys what she wants and I buy what I want, just thought it was funny how much she hated it.
Just a few weeks ago, bought my wife an MDX Type S Advance while waiting on my Jeep order…..and that SUV is VERY fun to drive. Put it in Sport+, lower that air suspension and take the hell off. Does everything well, and if you want to relax just crank up the 25 speaker stereo and turn on the massaging seats.

Given that she’s averaged driving my Jeeps about 1x a year over the last 5 years .... she just doesn’t want to drive it. Which is honestly a benefit IMO ?
OMG. Just made me think. The less my wife drives her Wrangler, the more miles left on the extended warranty. So now I've got 2 cross-nation trips to Moab covered. So...Thanks for not likin' your Wrangler, BABE !

The wife has always liked Jeeps. She WAS glad I was spending thousands on something that had four wheels instead of two. More than once she has come home to find a new Harley sitting in the garage. In my defense....she loves the wind in her face as much as I do.She's a keeper!

She doesn't hate it or love it. "It's just a car" is her response....ugh....That's so wrong in so many ways!

Yup, my wife hates my Jeep. Rides too harsh, too noisy, too tall, steers like a radio flyer, money pit... but she loves the Uconnect CarPlay.

my wife hated my Jk and JKU. we ended up trading both in. She loves our 4xe. Which is fine cause I get her Camaro when she takes the Jeep.

My wife loves our Jeep! Drives it every opportunity she can. Her car is a Toyota Sienna (AWD) mini-van so can't say I blame her.

We used to have a Patriot and our Audi A7. Back before Covid I had to commute to work 125 miles round trip and took the Audi almost all the time. Covid hit and now I have worked from home for 2 years and the wife took over the Audi. This past summer we traded the Patriot in for the Wrangler and now she is the main driver on the Wrangler and I got my Audi back.

We have had some model of Jeep in the garage since before we got married back in 1999.
I had several German cars. My last was a moonlight blue A5 sportback with nougat leather that I LOVED. I also had a 2005 TJ. MY wife and 2 kids hated both- too low and too unconfortable. I now have a 4xe and it's all they want to ride in. I love it....but still miss that Audi.

I wanted to get an F150. We went to the dealer to test drive it and my wife didn't just hate it. She loathed it.

Now I could have still gotten it but I gotta live with my wife, ya know. So then I decided to drive the Wrangler (dealer has side by side Ford and Jeep lots). We test drive that and she LOVES it, even took the test drive session longer than I did.

My wife loves the Wrangler.*

*as long as it is reliable

My immediate predecessor to my JLURD was a VW GTI. I wish I had both. Completely opposite driving experiences but both excellent.
