Please send me your VIN. The parts required are the mirror assembly and header harness which plugs in under the pass side A pillar. Sorry no docs are available.

Hey guys just wanted to report in I got my Auto dimming mirror installed and working in my 2018 Wrangler JL. Big thanks to Allmopartparts.com for the diagrams and then the quick help ordering the overhead harness. The main issue was once the overhead harness was installed there were no wires in corresponding slots in the connector behind the Passanger side a pillar. (Yellow/Pink (Ignition switched) and a Orange/Violate (BCM)) check ur connectors behind the passanger A-pillar u should see these 2 on the over head harness plug but if u check the body side of the plug there not pinned. I added 2 pins and ran the wires to the Compass module (they share the same wires) and it’s now working on the radio etc. SOS and Assist buttons function too

Could you advise on if I have proper wiring in place for adding auto dim mirror? This is my passenger side a pillar harness

I count tell you from just that picture. Theu changed amen colors based on year etc. if you don’t have the wire it’s too easy tk add the proper jumper. Only way to tell is purchase plug it in and see if it works. If you’re Jeep didn’t come with the Auto-dimming mirror u will need the over head harness to plug it in

Okay, that makes sense. I guess you don’t remember how many wires you had existing in this plug before you added? I have both the mirror and the harness on order. Could you go into a bit more detail on where you tapped the compass wiring?

It looks like your missing #4 which is power and is vital. I do not think the BUS line #8 is required.
