I've learned so far on this thread that I am a peasant that drives a minivan, doesn't matter what you think of me I will be happy as long as I can drive my peasant minivan with the doors off.

also lights before lockers... its dark like, half of the time we're here on earth right?

The XR model feels more unstable with higher speed highway driving. I have an XR and wouldn't trade it for anything, I love it. But long and higher speed highway drives can be mentally taxing with the higher profile brick on wheels. You really feel the crosswinds, the curves, even heavier humid air at high speeds. Can be a taxing mind game just driving the XR at high speed, trying to avoid the roll over picture in the back of your mind. Again, I love it, wouldn't trade it, but would really think twice about driving it long distances.
I was driving the wife’s Porsche Macan down SR18 from Big Bear following a new JLURXR. He was hauling all the way down that curvy road. We noted that it didn’t look like he was getting very much body roll either.
We were impressed.

You don't even drive at night.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Are you all such bad drivers that you need Metal bumpers? I've done all the hard stuff in Colorado and anve never touched plastic once.
My steel bumpers are for the shittyassphukindrivers in case they happen to run into my JL while texting. I had a T-boned Infiniti thanks to that, so I'm not taking any chances :)

Rubicon is the only option.
I thought the OP was asking for unpopular opinion, that's pretty damn popular from all I've seen :)

I had someone back into me at a job where I was waiting for my supervisor to get there, she was mad that her bumper was dented and my front bumper just had a little paint on it and no other damage, wiped it off when I got home

If you're not in the .01% you're a peasant. Welcome to the club ?

Have had 4 Jeeps. One of each model. 88 YJ, 04 TJ, then a 2014 JKU and now a 2021 JLUR. Each model year got progressively more “refined”. Have loved each one for different reasons….but gotta say I never ever woulda put an angry bird grill on any of them. But if that’s your thing then rock on. Peace out.

Now you just need the bad boy, the CJ to complete your collection (which is impressive btw).
Peace Out!
