I’m not sure how blasphemous these will be, but:

1) Mud tires on Jeeps aren’t as cool as people think they are, and they’re generally awful for most driving situations (especially on-road, rain, and snow IME).

2) “Angry” grills and similar grill replacements ruin the Jeep aesthetic.

3) There is such a thing as too much lift.

You cant truly, fully, live the Jeep life if you own a 4 door. Climbing into the back to get my toddler into a seat that barely fits in there is part of owning a Jeep. And so is taking the family on a camping trip with negligible trunk space. A real pita.

People who seek out the mud puddles on trails are weird. Why do you want to smell steaming hot burnt ass all day?
I feel like the puddles in North Carolina are filled differently than up here. ;)

More power isn't always the answer. Gearing is.

The 3.6 is a dog and needs to be revamped/retired.

SOT looks like trash.

Black, white and grey are boring colors.

The Bronco isn't that bad a rig. 90% of people would get one if it had a Jeep Wrangler badge on it and would look down on SFA Wranglers.
And another: Gladiator soft top in down position looks like Trump walking into the wind.

Quick disconnect swaybar endlinks usually suck worse than just unbolting the links at the trailhead.
Cant say that's my experience with the set of JKS I had on my JK.

It’s perfectly acceptable to preemptively modify, improve, or upgrade a component of your Jeep without having broken it in a mud hole in the backwoods leaving you stranded.

IFS… I have owned Polaris Rangers UTV’s. They handle rough terrain better than either one of our Wranglers. So while most like the solid axle, I like IFS. So this is my unpopular opinion..LOL
I’m sure it has nothing to do with being 2-3k lbs lighter, which an IFS full sized rig wouldn’t be. The bronco is heavier.

I thought flirting with starvation and heatstroke after poor planning / maneuvering was a Wrangler rite of passage?

I've spend thousands of miles behind the wheel of various HMMWVs... 4 corner Independent suspension isn't a bad way to go.

Properly designed of course... not that rock grabber bar the new Suburbans have... :headbang:

That trailer sure is longer and less maneuverable than a 4 door though…

Quite literally yes... those mud stains on the bumper and edge of the fenders are permanent! lol

lol, the clay mud here smells absolutely awful on a hot exhaust. It is one of the very, very few things that detract from my experience when wheeling doorless/topless.

And it's funny, it's a couple of pairs of JKS disconnects that solidified my opinion there - two buddies of mine run them on their JKs and both have had the keepers on the pins walk off and then the link walk off the peg. One of them even had it get caught in a wheel and bend the axle-side link bracket almost flat and gouge up the inside of his wheel. Other similar designs I've seen have had similar issues on friend's vehicles over the years. And the pegs collecting muck and clay and having to clean it off to get the link back on I find annoying lol

I hate having leather in my Jeep. Would prefer commercial grade wipe down vinyl or durable fabric. (but it was the only way I could get a 392) The only thing crazier than leather, is bright red leather in a Jeep.

The folddown feature of the windshield should be eliminated since it's now a curved window frame, there is a proximity sensor in the winshield that makes it awkward looking, and you have to remove the windshield wipers. It's not convenient, nor attractive.

I think riding in the Jeep is no louder or rough riding than any other vehicles I've driven, possible even better.

Large rims have no place on a Jeep, and I'm not talking about 20+, that's a given, but the days of 15" wheels and large sidewalls that we had in the 90s have gone away, but that sidewall sure improved capability of aired down tires and gave a better ride. If appreciate larger brakes, but if I could, I'd be back at a large sidewall, smaller wheel.

I think black hardtops look better than painted.

Unless it's a trail only rig, rhinolining the exterior of a jeep looks horrible.

Placing a $2000 tent on top of a Jeep seems dumb, when you could pitch a tent in similar timeframe and not add a bunch of weight to throw your center of gravity off.

On the comments about high lift folks, similarly, most of the people I see with factor55 prolinks and flat links, don't have the necessary accessories, or often knowledge, for using them. The conventional steel cable and hook would provide a much simpler and usable setup.

At the end of the day, to each their own, who cares! HAHA

Man, you really got me going!:beer::beer::beer:

1. I bought my Jeep in April, so now I am looking forward to heavy snow next winter.
2. I am old, so I like the modern technology mixed with creature comforts like heated seats and steering wheel.
3. I will respect this forum's ban on politics, but this doesn't mean I agree with it or have to like it.
