Last month I purchased a used 2020 Wrangler unlimited to replace my 2016 one. I wanted something a little newer and with a warranty. Last week I was driving and noticed that none of my gauges were working, no speed no fuel no digital display. Took it to a dealer this week and was told my guess is as good as theirs when the new part will be in. I was told that I could drive it but just guess how fast I was going or to keep up with traffic. I’m blown away by this dealers response to me regarding this. So now I get to drive for lord knows how long without knowing how fast I’m going or how much gas I have.

I’ll look for one of those, thanks. Well I’m picking it tomorrow but he said dashboard cluster which needs to be ordered bc they don’t those in stock. I’ll get a part number tomorrow hopefully.

I think we used to call that a douche answer. I would put that on my review also.

After all done of course!

I agree, the service department there is horrible. I only went there bc they were close. I’m definitely not going back again. They guy is pretty much useless I called back the same night left a voicemail for him he never allied back so I had to call the next day. Still never got to talk to him but rather another guy there.

Have you tried a full disconnect reboot? It’s not as simple as it used to be, but will occasionally wake up electronics caught up in a glitch.

I think that would qualify as a major "safety" issue that if under warranty they would be required to keep the vehicle at the svc dept to ensure it stays off the road AND give you a comparable loaner until the issue is resolved one way or another. On top of that they'd need to reimburse you for car payments for lost driving time due to the vehicle sitting at the svc dept.
Call stellantis customer care.
Ask me how I know this...

That’s what I feel as well. Yet no offer of a loaner car or anything like that. It is covered under warranty as well.

Holy crap, well for starters check the fuses to the gauge cluster, next download the waze app to your phone and display it with your carplay or android auto to your uconnect system hopefully you have the 7in or 8.4 in screen; it gives you the posted speed limit and the speed you're doing, fill tank up and watch your mileage. Sorry if I can't help any further. Keep the Jeep wave going.

Thanks! Sadly I have the small screen which I didn’t know at the time couldn’t show anything. I’m looking for an after market radio but finding that a bit difficult and pricey. Can’t watch miles as that’s all dead on the dash.

Shyt, yeah everything is expensive-so two things on that avenue, check your local salvage yard for wrecked jeeps and pull one from there and get vin number and take it to dealer and have it flashed, second option go to infotainment.com and purchase one from them; as everything with Jeep is not cheap (all of us Jeepers know this-we are a different breed) lol. So my son went infotainment.com and applied for the Affirm credit which he was able to make manageable payments. Always options. Keep the Jeep wave going and welcome to the Jeep wrangler community.
