Looking good! Where'd you put yours in the fronts?
I used the Z bracket that came with the KC Cyclones kit and one of the factory fender bolts. Required minor trimming of the fender liner, but nothing a sharp utility knife couldn’t cut through easily.

As I am riding topless and doorless this week (well, tube doors anyway), I got the opportunity to hang up my stock Jeep doors on the “ponytail design” door hanger that I installed in my garage. And while it works just fine - and had my tube doors safely hanging on them for a while now - I can’t stop thinking what would happen if for whatever reason, one of those door hinge eye-screws came loose… urgh… Jeep worries… ?

Then I am in Lowes today, and found the below completely by random accident! 75 pound support, lag bolts right into studs, and they even come foam padded already ??

Were these made for Jeep door hanging?! ?
OMG!!! This is crazy because I literally just found these at Lowes the other day and my bf was like "Wow I can't believe how nice these will work for your doors!" Same situation.. I can't wait to get mine hung on these!

They come with anchor-screws to install, but I lag-bolted it into a stud just to make sure. Dead solid. Also used some extra pool noodle at the top, just in case. ??

Alright, beadlocks with 285/70 KO2’s are on. Also got my free.99 dumpster springs on from some sort of mystery 4 door Rubicon. Falcon SP2 2.1’s up front (meant for 2-3.5”), need some drop brackets for brake/speed sensor lines before I go offroad (edit, actually when I add my drop brackets and metalcloack fronts I won’t need them because the LCA mount will be eliminated). Rear has Rocksports that are a tad too long for the springs so I’ll need to either watch it offroad, add spacers front/rear, or do some limiting straps.
I’ll drive it a bit tomorrow to settle it out before I take measurements. About a 3 hour install, hopefully I can go balance the wheels tomorrow.
If she flexes good, I’ll be happy. If she’s still got room I might swap in some Clayton Offroad 1.5’s.
Next up is either the tire carrier or front air locker (and subsequent 4.56’s). Still waiting in LOD sliders to ship, tire carrier is in my garage though. Can’t find an ARB manifold anywhere I normally shop in stock, so that’s holding up my locker/regear.

Been kinda busy :)
Nice work there^^
So those springs were just laying in the back of a shop or something just waiting to go to a good home?? How's the caster ATM? Nice choice in wheels too!
Maybe change your nic to "Some Random Springs" :)

No idea on caster yet. I think I’ll do brackets, control arms, and track bar before I get it aligned. It can’t be good right now, my gut says it will be around 4.5.
I was buying the rear shocks when I mentioned springs. The local shop offered me their dumpster and told me they just swapped some off a 4 door Rubicon.

Hutchinson. Love them, home assembly. I did beads the last 2 tire sets but I’m going to try a normal balance this time.

Quadratec Baja hd flares, Paramount liners, Fox 2.0 shocks, Alpha equip wheels, 315/70/17 Goodyear territory tires, and put the soft top back on over the last couple days.

How was the install for the flares? I’m between them and the standard Rubicon ones. I like the idea of crushable plastic that I can tear off and fix or replace. I’m not kind to my fenders here in the Pacific Northwest, lots of off-camber trails with roots and trees to tear off taillights and things.

Install is really easy. I'd say they are a little more rigid than a stock flare. Definitely more rigid than a chopped stock flare. If you're looking for the most crushable a chopped Rubicon flare would probably be better
