Not for nothing, but I immediately felt an increased stiffness when I went from C-rated 38x13.5 Milestar Patagonias @ 35psi to D-rated 40x13.5 Patagonias @ 35psi. I thought the 1" thicker air cushion would've offset the higher load range, but if it did, it wasn't enough of an offset to not notice as soon as I was pulling out of the tire shop parking lot.

I also immediately felt a difference when I had load D tires for about a week before I replaced them with my current 35” load C ko2s. It’s one of those subjective things. There are members on this forum who will swear that there is absolutely no difference in ride quality between a load C tire and a load E tire. Which is very curious indeed.

Agree about it being subjective to both the person and the setup of each Jeep. As far as no felt difference between a C and E, yeah well, I wouldn't buy that for a dollar.

A load E tire at 20 psi rides like a load C at 30 in my experience. The higher the load rating the lower the psi you'll want to run on a Jeep.

I'm over here running 24 psi on 38" C range around town because it rides so damn smooth. I put them at 31 if I'm going farther.

The 37" KO2s look a little better once it settles in, but they do look smallish for the lift size.

A couple reference shots, this is a 4xe, but I'd assume the MC 3.5" will end up at a similar height regardless. This is MC 3.5" with 37" KO2 (Ds). Shock eye to eye ~24" F / ~27" R. Clean is immediately after lift, dirty has a thousand miles or so on it.

I will be going from a MC 2.5" lift to a 3.5" soon and the increased gap and how it may look was at the back of my mind (I also have BFG K02 in 37's). With that said, your "dirty" shot looks like it settled in nicely and the gap is fine.

The D rated 37x12.50r17 Baja Boss AT we have on the 18 JLUR rides nicely. IMO, probably the best looking AT available.

Is that with a 3.5" lift? Also, what is the measured height when mounted?

The first pic was literally just backed out of the garage immediately after install, and my driveway does have some slope to it which may be distorting it.

Anything noticeable right off the bat?
you can tell a slight increase in weight (mind you this is a 3.6 not a 392) and they're not as smooth but i like the steering feel these provide over the Ko2.

I like those they look pretty aggressive I wonder how different they would actually feel but I’m sure everything will be different once I actually put the lift on.

do you have any knowledge on the tires below and what they might sit at when mounted?

I have had a 392 with BFG KO2`s 35`s on it, and now I have a 392 XR with 37" BFG KO2`s on it.
I know the XR has a lift but it is hard to say how much. The standard 392 sat higher than a stock Rubicon
The one on the left is my 392 XR with 37"s. The center is my 392 with 35"s and a bone stock one
If you want any specific measurements on the XR with 37`s let me know. You can PM me and chat if you want

Or you could do what I did and go straight to E and not know what I’m missing ?
