Ok so I have mentioned some of the issues that I have had with my jeep since I have owned it(Bought at 16k miles, currently 23k). Which is both visors broken, paint corrosion, steering wheel heat stopped working, occasional radio display not working. Took them 2 days to fix 1 visor, 18 days to fix corrosion and end product looks mismatched in a lot of places. 3 week to just order the parts for warranty stuff. So I was browsing the forums about my steering being sloppy which everyone says is a "Jeep thing" and a slight pull to the right(maybe that is just needing alignment) and I came across the steering gear service bulletin. I take a copy of the bulletin in and mention the sloppy steering and pulls to the right, (my jeep 2019 JLUS manufacture start date of 12/18) which makes it fall into the trac bar needed replaced with it. So they say ok and order the parts supposedly. I check back a week later to see the status, order is missing, he looks into it. finally get them ordered. He informs me that he mentioned to the service manager that it had wander also, which sloppy steering and pulling is enough for the bulletin. Go in today to check status again after order was placed on 3/10 and they come in finally, all but the steering wheel module and wheel, I was like ok schedule the steering fix now to get it done and I will wait on the wheel its heated and since its nice out currently don't really need the heated wheel at the moment.

They schedule it ( I was at my lunch break) my work shift is over and I get call from service. They are cancelling the job because they claim it would be warranty fraud. I was like what? The tech told his supervisor that I didn't mention the pulling or wander until after I showed them the bulletin and I "just wanted the parts regardless if they can fix the pull." Which the wander part was the tech taking it upon himself. Btw I'm on speaker phone with the tech and manager and manger sides with tech saying why would he lie to his face. So basically calling me a liar and telling me that since I don't trust them to get it done I can pretty much go somewhere else from now on. They were blaming the used tires I have on it, that I didn't have it aligned. All these excuses.

Now I have to lose work time to take it elsewhere to fix something this simple. What is it about dealers that makes them think their crap don't stink and no one could possibly be shady.

Sorry for the rant and the long read. Here is also a break down of all the stuff that has been repaired by warranty since it was sold, I had the tech print off the warranty stuff on one of my trips.

8 miles, Replaced Instrument Panel,
9 miles, Glove compartment Latch
1800 miles, Transmission replaced
3500 miles Oil Cooler replaced,
7000 miles, Rear main seal replaced
16k Visor 1 Replaced
20k Visor 2 Replaced,
23k waiting for heated steering wheel and module, steering gearbox and trac bar,
Radio not working 100% of the time mentioned to dealer with no indication of trying to look into it.

Try contacting the GM there about your complaint and let him know you plan to share your poor experience, just be sure to be able to back it up.

Then find a different dealer.
I really hate seeing such a flippant response. Some of us don't live in areas where the next closest dealership is only 30 minutes away. Finding a new dealer is not always an option.

OP PM @JeepCares , they can be of benefit in situations like this.

I was thinking the same thing on that post, and I have since sent a message to jeepcares, thanks for response.

Not meant to be flippant. After a hidden scraped tank at a Harley dealership I started using the next closest that was an hour away and worth it for good service and peace of mind. If you can’t get satisfactory service a drive might be worth considering.

This dealer’s service department has already made it clear they don’t wish to work on this customer’s vehicle, so why would he think it’ll get any better because he complains? If anything it’ll be worse. Even if the next nearest dealer is an hour away, if they treat the customer as they should, and repair the vehicle correctly, it’s worth it.

Yep- Even used a Harley dealership that was 1hr 45min away for some more extensive customizing and chrome work for which they had a great reputation (deservedly so)?

It's far too commonplace for new vehicle owners with warranty coverage to become entangled in mental wrestling matches with dealerships to get valid problem resolutions.
