Why would you be surprised? The XR is lifted and on bigger, wider tires. That is the nature of the beast. It’s not for everyone.
this wasn’t the normal amount of sway, something wasn’t right on it.

How long have people been waiting for theirs to ship after being told it’s built? Mine has been built for about a week and a half. I was told yesterday that it was in transit but decided to double check today and was told it hadn’t shipped yet. So far I know of at least 2 others at the same dealer that have been shipped. Not sure why mine is still sitting in Toldedo.
Window sticker 1/1. Salesman told me it was at rail yard waiting for truck to dealer on 1/3. Almost 3 weeks later, I emailed the salesman, even with trucking issues that seemed a bit long. Said he made a mistake. Jeep not at rail. Emailed JC, still waiting to ship. So it’s been built close to a month & still waiting to ship.
2 door Willys Sport to Alabama.

I would buy a 2 door for myself if we didn’t still have a kiddo in the house...

on another note, I test drove a Jeep with the extreme recon package the other day, was not impressed. It felt very top heavy and the steering and swaying were awful. The dealership was going to change out the stabilizers to see if that would help.
Could of been something as simple as the tires were way overinflated from the factory. First thing I will do when mine comes in is make sure the pressure is lowered to 34 PSI. I’ve had orders come in with 45 PSI in the tires and that makes a HUGE difference in handling and feel.

Have you been able to pull up a build sheet or window sticker on crypto stickers or any of the window sticker retrieval sites at this point?

I keep getting the “currently in scheduling phase…all parts being gathered” response.

Try Loging on to the local dealers website and see if they have any 22s in inventory
Finally got VIN, 8 weeks to the day from ordering. Options had to be updated last week for the half doors to include uppers.
Rubicon, Diesel, Half Doors with uppers, black hardtop, cold weather, led, painted flares, tow in Sarge.

No other update with dates or production schedule.
Your dealer must not have had allocation or something? Or your dealer did not order until recently? You should have had a VIN a few days after your order was entered by the dealer.

That's it...I'm depressed....I know there's many before me...and many to follow...VIN 153XXX ordered 12/20, and the Jeep I ordered is what seems to be a hell of a wait, especially with all the unknowns, chip issues, labor shortages, transportation delays, etc. I look around and see some getting theirs, others waiting for what seems to be an eternity (you OCT/NOV guys). The exact jeep I ordered is apparently in transit and available to buy to another dealer in AZ (I'm in FL) but wants like $9-10K over MSRP range near 70K. :puke:. I really don't want to pay that much, some may say that's the free market, I'd say more like price gouging, but the more I wait I fear Jeep will run out of parts or demand will exceed capacity for another year, or some other BS will crop up to further add to what seems like long delays, and it makes the other option start to sound more sane. Am I starting to go crazy here already watching everyone else's posts, getting Jeep envy? Maybe I just need to get a cold bucket of water thrown on my and told to take a deep breath and relax. First world problems, I know. Man....ordering a Jeep in 2022 is giving me a condition....but damn, I've always wanted a Jeep, so come hell or high water, I'm getting a frigin JEEP.

NICE! What are specs? We ordered a Snazz Sport Altitude on 12/4 and still in "D". Also here in NC. Happy for you!
Sahara, 2.0 auto, premium soft top, towing, cold weather, both safety packages, led, Gorilla Glass, all Weather mats, and window storage bag.
