I drove past the Belvidere, IL Chrysler plant last night. The plant normally makes the Cherokee there but it looked shut down. I noticed something interesting though. There were maybe 200 or so brand new Wranglers being unloaded and staged in the parking lot. LOTS of blue ones. They were unloading them from rail cars. Hopefully some of those new Wranglers are for some forum members!

I am going to go ahead and be positive here, and speak it into existence that it is my Hydro Blue 4XE Sahara that is still in the part gathering stage.

If your Jeep was still in the parts gathering stage why would it be partially assembled in a lot in Belvidere. You’re in D purgatory with a bunch of us accept it for what it is.

My JLR is here in SLC getting unloaded off the train. About 5 minutes from where I am at. Then will take a truck ride to Idaho (Peterson). If all goes well should be there in a week or so. Ordered 10/25.

With any luck you'll get yours quick. My 2022 JLU Sting Gray Willys was in paint the first week of January, just got delivered to the CDJR in Pembroke Pines yesterday. JC had told me estimated between 1-17 and 1-27. They had the shipping update like 7-10 days after paint.

I swear my 11.6 (VIN 1139**) order will never arrive. Been gathering parts since 12.18. I should of kept my car until it officially arrived. However, was given the infamous 6-12wk arrival window and was under the impression they were being built when I placed my order.

Is this a thing for orders from WA state? I tried looking up the Zone for all orders showing up in crypto and nothing is coming up from this area. I haven't seen any posts from WA area as well in this thread other than yours. Such a long wait doesn't make sense since I see so many 4XEs being built for other zones on crypto. Is it possible that the order got submitted as a dealer order instead of a customer sold order?

Also is anyone here who ordered from WA and got their 22 delivered or seeing progress with their orders? ( I m from WA and hence sharing the anxiety)

I’ve been gathering parts since 10/13 there’s a bunch of other unfulfilled October orders too. Welcome to the over-promise/under-deliver club.

One thing that does go in order is Vin assignments, my confirmed order was placed on 11/12 my Vin is 116***. Your confirmed order must have actually been placed around the 11/13- 11/14 date with Vin 117*** Seems some dealers hold order placement for several days??

Yeah, I would guess 11/13 for that VIN. I'm 117167 and order was placed 11/13. According to JC just now, still "gathering parts".

I received a slightly different response today from JC. I received the standard gathering parts phase, and then received this additional information:

"

Your new Jeep has not yet reached the Gate line schedule stage of the build, your new vehicle is presently progressing as normal. Production for the 2022 Jeep Wrangler lineup did not begin until December 16th. The the average factory order, once started on the production line, to delivery window to the dealer is generally 7 - 9 weeks once the vehicle has begun the build process and not from the date the order was placed. Presently all of the materials that are needed to build your new Jeep are being received and the build process should begin soon. We would advise to stay in contact with your selling dealership, as they can provide updates as they become available."
