I second this recommendation! My (short) wife especially likes our hood struts. She struggles somewhat with the hood prop rod. @Redline Tuning has great customer service too.@Hearhear
@Redline Tuning a Forum Sponsor has a hood lift system for the 392 and other JL's and the JT.
Well worth the $. Install is easy and geeeez, what a pleasure to have,,

Third on this recommendation. Easily one of the best and most used/appreciated mods I've ever done. Even my mechanic thanks me for it ?I second this recommendation! Fourth recommendation on the @Redline Tuning struts. Huge difference in hood operation and since I'm under the hood for compressor use every time I am offroad it eliminates that hood prop that is always in the way.@Hearhear

I think you'd change your mind if you had them installed.I’m not sure I’m the buyer for the hood struts. Seems like a waste of money to be, I just lay the hood against the windshield. More light in the engine bay is far more useful than a hood that holds itself open.
We have a Quick Release function on our gas springs so you can still lay the hood back if you need more clearance.I’m not sure I’m the buyer for the hood struts. I’ve had your kits on a few cars, just don’t understand this one. LolWe have a Quick Release function on our gas springs so you can still lay the hood back if you need more clearance.
Best mod I’ve done - just wish I had installed before a wind gust bounced my hood against the windshield header. Took $215 in PDR work to repair the hood dent….and I’m lucky it was repairable.Third on this recommendation. Easily one of the best and most used/appreciated mods I've ever done. I'm just worried because the 392 has all that ductwork attached under the hood, and it's so heavy. I'm just hoping I didn't knock something loose or crack or warp anything.Nope its junk now so you have to give it to me. Lol. Ive done that on my 18 and i think i ? a little but all is good. Now i have the struts and forget i have those and grab for the prop rod.
