I agree the AEV XP is so nice. Originally I wasn't sure about the extra money for the 8100s. Glad I went for it. With 37 inch BFG KO2s. Picture isn't great, haven't had time to get a better one.
Leaving work on Thursday ICE immediately fired up, thought that was super weird....drive about 100 feet before the check engine light came on. Pulled code when I got home P0E15... dealership can't get me in to even diagnose it till December 11th. Ugh.
Factory OE 4xe wheels, not sure what the offset is. The BFGs run a little smaller than some other brands. If you get something like a Toyo or something that runs a bit true to size, you may get some rubbing.
Another Grizzl-E here, classic with the NEMA 6-50 plug. Had mine almost 2 years now, no problems at all. If you need a smart EVSE this one won't be the one, but if you want a simple bulletproof unit I'd definitely look at it.
I didn't see any way to fit the ARB fridge and ARB slide on the driver side in the 4xe. I didn't want to have to replace the fridge and/or slide to get it to fit. So if I need to I can pull stuff out of the fridge and then lower the table, it's not that big of a deal for me. The ability to...
Finished up the rear platform and cargo set up in my 4xe. Access to the under floor storage and some tie downs. The Fabtech cargo shelf is really nice. ARB 50 fridge and ARB fridge slide.
After a drive to get the oil warmish, park on flat surface and put in neutral/parking brake cover grill with a blanket or something....leave to idle, takes 20 to 40ish minutes once the oil gets above 205/206. I did it last night. You don't need to put it in neutral but at 30 minutes it will...
I've found that if you cover the grill with a blanket or cardboard or something similar, after driving a bit to get the engine warmed up....park on a flat surface, parking brake/chock wheels. With engine running put in neutral so it doesn't time out and let it idle. Once the oil temp gets to...
I went with the Grizzl-E Classic with a NEMA 6-50 plug. Works great. NEMA 4 weatherproof rating. Simple but nice UL listed unit. Has dip switches to adjust output from 16, 24, 32, and 40 amps.
Here is the response I got, this was pretty cool.....Had no Idea they would do this.
Build (sequence) number is not available nor provided by the factory.
In the 2021 model year, there were 187 (including/as your own) 2021 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED RUBICON 4XE's manufactured in the same paint...
Another vote for the Grizzl-E Classic, been using mine since Sept 2021, been working great. My power company was offering a 75% credit up to $200 dollars for an EVSE, didn't specify any particular brand, only stipulations were the EVSE has to be new and UL listed.
