Melted 4xe charging port

I woke up this morning to the charging port and charger on my 4xe melted together. This ever happen to anyone else?

Never seen that before. What EVSE were you using? The one that came with the Jeep?

There was a high resistance electrical connection at the plug/connector causing excessive heat.

Was the plug fully seated in the connector?

I think you overloaded the flux capacitor.

I've seen this happen with other plug ins. It's usually an issue with the charger. Here's an example:

What kind of charger? How many amps was it pushing? Any other updates?
