Looking for a decently priced torque wrench for simple things like oil changes and overall just general medium duty work, any help is greatly appreciated.

i got Husky's 150 ft lbs wrench from the home depot, like it so far! used it for all the hinge torx bolts (the ones that bolt to the actual door/hood, tailgate), exhaust install, spare tire so far

I've been using Harbor Freight torque wrenches for the past few years. Have 3 different sizes. No issues with any.

Just recently got a Craftsman at Lowes. 150lbs. I think it was about 90 bucks. Works great. I have one of their smaller ones too and they have both been very good.

Quick comment you might need a couple one for smaller fasteners (lower torque range) and another for larger fasteners (higher torque range).

Actually, I’ve got several that work perfectly that I don’t ever use because I’m a tool whore and have purchased multiples. If you’re interested in a used one, I can donate one for just the cost of mailing it to you. I might be able to give you a couple, I need to check. Probably Craftsman or HF.

Oohh man the tekton set is nice. I need one that goes to 200lbs for my damn LCA bolts.
My only complaint about the Tekton torque wrench is that the lock nut tends to not stay snug. But I’ve had this issue on various brands. If I need to use it on one setting for a number of fasteners I torque the lock nut down a little bit with a screwdriver through the hole.
