I installed the diesel block heater cord today. Easy to do but hard to get at the area. I managed to do it without removing the tire or fender well.

I ran the wire up the dipstick

Yes Mopar cord. I lowered the cord from the top but actually plugged it in from the bottom laying on the ground. Then reach up from the bottom to snap on the plug holders that I could reach then reached the rest from the top.

AEV rear bumper, tire carrier, fuel caddy, and BD reversing light wired to aux switch. Worst installation instructions of all time, lot of parts needing mods to fit, but they still manage to sell a product which integrates a lot of function while still looking OEM.

Finally put on my diesel badge on today.

Purchased from ebay $44 each (Mopar 6803 8123 AA) (originally for 07-09 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 3.0L DIESEL LIFTGATE EMBLEM). Not sure I like the "repurpose" part of it but best badge I liked so far....and at least I repurposed a Jeep product and not some other auto

maker.

If that holds on the hand calculation, that’s better than 30% more mpg than what folks are getting with 37s with 3.6s and 2.0s...seriously impressive.

damn, this IS impressive.... makes me feel better about the 37's and mpg on my diesel
