Do any of these 'tuners' improve performance on a jl?

There are a couple of offerings in the engine ecu category, that seem to be gaining traction and are reliably gaining performance in conjunction with the right hard parts that allow the motor to breathe more freely. I've yet to even decide if I will venture down that rabbit hole, so I'm not up on the details.Do any of these 'tuners' improve performance on a jl?

If you're referring to the Tazer, and the like, than the only performance related enhancements are its ability to bypass the factory nannies. Such as rear locker use in 2hi, both lockers in 4hi, "sway lock" that prevents reconnect when exceeding 19 mph, "trac kill" that fully shuts down traction control vs just desensitizing it, programmable high rpm in winch mode, etc.

Ok, wasn't sure if you were referring to BCM or ECU programmers. I haven't delved into the latter, so maybe someone else will chime in on that end of things.Talking about something like this

Seems like a questionable product with their performance claims. I've seen similar products for other vehicles that were absolutely useless.Talking about something like this
