All,

Please give me your opinion if you believe that all black wheels would look better on my Rubicon. I like the design of the wheels, but the silver trim "feels" out of place as it is really the only silver trim I have on it. I know that Moab's come with all black spoke type wheels and I am totally fine with factory wheels (especially since it is my thought I can find a set fairly reasonable in cost) and aftermarket wheels are usually $$$ and I can use that money on other upgrades.

What say you?

I’m partial to black wheels on a Wrangler that has decent mods. I’ve found some pictures of dealers with units that are super expensive but look good. Because, why not?

i think your wheels look great. I think there is enough black there to set them off nicely. Like the black lug nuts too, need to replace mine with some....

Factory order JL once I finalize the configuration..
Personally I hate the look of two tone wheels. all black or all silver.
If I put rubi wheels on my sport I’m powder coating them all black. About $40 per wheel.

I think the upgrade Rubicon wheels look great on any color. Probably better than most al black wheels IMO. But I’m biased...

If all black rims sing to you do it! I switched out my all black Moab rims to similar all black rims for the backspace I needed. I love all back rims on a vehicle. If that’s what you want and you can swing it do it!

Looks sharp. If you want to go with all black wheels would be fine, but the set you have on your rig looks really nice as is. I think you are probably fine either way.

I do have a question for you, what set of running boards do you have?

They are ROAM frame mounted rock sliders with bed liner coating sprayed on.

I am obsessed with black wheels, all my cars have black wheels BUT, I am leaving my comfort zone and ordered bronze method MR312 to play off my crystal granite jeep. With that said I had a panic attack this morning over this. I like the factory rims ( I have your exact rim) but the silver kills it for me.

Thanks they look sharp. Did you spray on the bed liner coating? What did you use?

ROAM did it for me before I picked them up (ROAM is located in Houston--https://www.roamoffroad.com/#products) and I am fairly certain they used Line-X coating because Rhino would be a bit softer and "grabbier". They are wearing well thus far and if they even need to be recoated, it should be easy enough to pull them off and do that.

I like the wheels you have on it. If you do decide to do something else good aftermarket rims are about $250 each. Aftermarket looks better than painted oem wheels imo.

I don’t like your steps as it makes your Jeep look like it’s sitting low. Again my opinion. Maybe use your money on a 2 inch lift instead?

Has to be an optical illusion; they are rock sliders and sit quite a bit higher than the frame.
