give it a couple weeks, you'll be thinking $350 isn't so bad ? ? ?
I bought the locker wiring harness for $80 and wired the front locker to aux4. Engages much quicker and at any speed now. $350 is a total rip off, especially when you can improve the functionality for 80% less.

true, but that was last week, in a couple weeks $350 will just be a tank of gas, so...

Did I miss something or was something deleted? Where did the $350 come from? It says warranty newsletter right?

Bro, some people actually put miles on their Jeeps. It’s a “warranty newsletter” as in, “stop submitting warranty claims for whole axles”.
The part is currently quite expensive for what it is. It will probably come down over time.

Jeep Wrangler JL Axle Locker Sensor issue officially has a fix! Repair kit released B3FDB899-C05A-438A-88F5-8BCB4FE01C9C

This is good news thanks for posting. awesome for people whose vehicles are out of warranty or maybe you voided your warranty. I’m sure the gear installers will have these in stock on the shelf ready to go.

Especially since they already had them. Nothing new was created so no R&D to recover...
Not R&D but yes, some costs incurred due to adding to the Mopar parts catalog and all. Packaging costs, system updates, small items yes.
Also, they didn’t “already have them”. That was the problem. Mopar doesn’t make axles. Dana does. Dana sources the sensor from a 4th party, so the sensors were several steps out of the Jeep dealerships reach for the past few years.

I won't argue with what you say, but 10x the cost of what it should be is past ridiculous AND the replacement axles were what in the $2,500 range? So are we to believe this one sensor is 15% of the cost of the entire axle?

The sensor uses a small amount of a material called unobtainium for the actuator contact reversal arm, and the stuff is practically impossible to mine from what I've heard. That's probably why the cost is so high.
