LEAK from Axle Differential Locker Sensor Seal

Overly descriptive because I didn't find this in my search.

Has anyone had their diff sensor seal leak on the D44 M210s?

Front diff is low I've been needing to replace the fluid anyway, but it's leaking pretty bad from the top.

No warning lights or issues with lockers. Haven't checked part numbers or prices yet.
Fairly significant wearing on the sheath, too.

You'll have to clean all that up and see if it's the connector or the breather.

The connector can be taken out and the o-ring inspected. The breather hose should be pulled off and the nipple coming out of the housing needs inspected for cracks.

There is an oring in the connector that can be replaced ?


95% certain it's the connector. Breather hose seems clean. Connector is straight wet. I understand it's underneath so could drip.

Yeah, if you take that 10mm bolt out, there will be another connector in there.

The feedthru connector will have an o-ring on it. It's a lot easier to just buy the feedthru.
