For you 2024+ guys... Our Wrangler is a 2023 but I just updated our 2024 Grand Cherokee again last night. Can't argue 4 free map updates per year. You'll need a large USB drive as the North American files are 17GB. Download to your computer, unzip, and copy the individual files (no folders) into the NTFS or FAT32 formatted USB drive. I've personally found NTFS works better. Engine must be running and it errors out for me if driving so I had to do it while parked in the garage. Enjoy!

What files did you actually put in the hard drive and what size thumb drive did you use?

I have a 32GB drive and it works perfectly. When you plug the USB into the Jeep it automatically reads and asks you if you'd like to begin the update process. Then, let it do its thing and just wait... When done it will pop up a confirmation, then you can check the map data and it'll show it's the 2024.09 version.

Tried it and even though my screen says I have a 9/2022 version, it tells me I am trying to instal the same map. I downloaded the latest version 2024 .09. I shall try it again!

Yes, used a new 128GB USB drive formatted to MS DOS because I am on a MAC. Redownloading and will try it again.

Well heck, I tried numerous times and I keep getting the message. The map on your USB device has been modified. Please repeat the download procedure on your computer. Anybody have any suggestions on how I can go forward?

Does Mac allow for any other format options on the USB drive? That's the only thing I can think of...
