New Product: IAG Drop Down EZ-Step® Add-on for JL & JT

Hey everyone,

We've had quite a few people ask if we'd ever make a lower version of our Jeep EZ-Steps®, especially after releasing the Drop Down version for the Bronco. After a lot of development and testing, they're finally here.

The new IAG Drop Down EZ-Step® Add-on is designed for 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door and 2020+ Jeep Gladiator JT models equipped with factory OEM rock rails.




If you've got a lifted Jeep, younger kids, shorter passengers, or just want an easier way to get in and out, these provide a much more comfortable stepping height while still keeping good ground clearance.

Compared to our original Jeep EZ-Steps®, the Drop Down version sits:

• 5" below the top of the factory rock rail
• 11" below the door sill
• Features an 18.5" wide anti-slip stepping surface

The nice part is they still remove in just a few minutes if you're heading out on a trail where you want every bit of clearance you can get.

They're built from TIG-welded mandrel-bent steel tubing with heavy-duty steel brackets and an aluminum anti-skid step plate, then powder coated for durability. Like the rest of our fabricated products, they're built here at our shop in Westminster, Maryland.

Installation is pretty straightforward:

• No drilling or cutting
• Bolts directly to OEM rock rails
• Adjustable positioning

One fun feature is that the IAG logo plate is interchangeable, so you can pick the accent color that best matches your Jeep.

Requires factory OEM rock rails.

They do not fit Mopar rock rails or most aftermarket rock rail systems.


We think these turned out really well and should be a great option for anyone who's been wanting a little easier access without committing to full-length running boards.

I posted about these a couple of weeks ago. I had the original version of your step and while it was well made it was too high to be of much use. GLad you came out with a new version but too late for me as I have installed Metal CLoak flip step rock rails.

Any chance you have a step in the works for Ram Power Wagon rock rails?

Those look great but $640 is a big ask. Any chance you're gonna give the forum a discount code
