XTREME 35" Package

I've been toying around with getting a new Wrangler lately and I would like to get a Rubicon with 35" tires, bead lock capable wheels, cast iron knuckles, steel bumpers, tow package with the aux buttons, cloth seats, and a winch. I also want a black hard-top and not a color-matched one.

When playing with the builder, there's a Rubicon X and a Rubicon with the XTREME 35" Package. Does the Rubicon with the XTREME 35" package come with the above?

The steel bumpers, tow package with the aux buttons, and the winch, are not part of the package. You have to add those to your order.

The cloth Seats are not available in a Rubicon X if I remember correctly.

I believe the Winch is only available with the Rubicon X.

Thank you for the response. When building out the Rubicon, there's the XTREME 35 package but there is no tow package. When building out the Rubicon X, there's a tow package but no XTREME 35 package.

It's confusing when building. I'm hesitant on going to the dealer because I've always had mediocre experiences at them.

Order through one of the dealers with a great reputation on this forum that offer below invoice ordering. All the ordering can be done remotely and when your Jeep comes in you can fly out and drive it home or have it shipped.

Yes, the Rubicon X is already equipped with the 35" Xtreme Recon Package. That's why it's not available for it.

Add the Tow Package to the Rubicon X and everything else you want with it. It will come with leather instead of the cloth seats because the Rubicon X is the top trim for the Wrangler.

The OP doesn't want a color matched top, so the X is out.

As the other responder said, I was hoping for the black top. The colored top makes it look too fancy for me. I'm sure a dealer could swap it out but I'd rather not pay for something I don't need.

In reality, I'm afraid I'm going to scratch up the color matching top. I've got some pretty decent scratches on the black top now and it's been relatively easy to cover up with the black touch up paint. I'm afraid the color matched top is going to be like trying to touch up the body panels. And that's a pain for me.

The rear steel bumper is pretty bad and you still have to invest hundreds of dollars in the front bumper to make it worth with a winch.

So don't get too wrapped up around it having the steel bumper package.

I have a 2025 Rubicon Recon. I ordered the steel bumpers, along with a handful of other things. I didn’t want the leather seats. I’m in Colorado and plan on leaving the doors and top off all summer. That leather gets wicked hot in the sun. Mine came with the aux buttons and a hitch receiver. I won’t ever tow with it, but it’s good for a bike rack.

I wasn’t able to order it with a factory winch. I grabbed a winch (Zeon 10s) and plate through Northridge 4x4 (forum sponsor) and it was cheaper than from Stellantis and the winch will have a lifetime warranty too. What it sounds like you’re looking for is a Rubicon with the Extreme Recon package and any other extras. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure the Rubicon X comes with 285/70R17 tires (33"). To get the 315/70R17 (35") requires adding the $4,495 Xtreme package to the Rubicon X.

The jeep builder web site is very confusing with the options because of how things appear/disappear over time.

I hate trusting the salesperson at the dealership but that may be the way to go on this. I don't want to buy one off the lot due to possible test drive abuse, and I'm afraid if I order one, it's going to take two months to build and it will be missing something when it gets in. I've heard dealers make it right by installing things at the dealer vs the factory, but I'd rather not have them do that. I've seen the techs at dealers not follow the procedure and just throw it together.

Thank you for the recommendation for the winch too. Maybe I'll pass on it. I have a winch I will be taking off my current JL. I know some have issues with the bumpers but I haven't had any issues. I figured I'm already spending that much, what's another 4k for the factory to install bumpers and a winch.

Rubicon X with automatic transmission includes the 35 Xtreme package. Without the automatic it does not include the 35 Xtreme Package and it is not an option.

Yes, adding the auto transmission forces you to also purchase the Xtreme package. On the flip side you can add the Xtreme package but it forces you to purchase the auto transmission.

You can build the Rubicon (not X) with black hardtop, 35 Xtreme Package and Capability Package, which includes steel bumpers and the winch. The Rubicon comes standard with the tow package and Aux switches, they are optional on the Rubicon X.
