If you have a Rubicon you don't need to trim or cut anything to fit that tire size(I am pretty sure for a non rubicon as well)Especially the BFG brand since they do run smaller than most tires . With the Rubicon wider axles it can easily fit the wheel well with no rubbing on the shock or control arms. Also with the+12mm offset of the XR wheel it will push out the wheel out more vs the +44mm offset on stock wheels.Mostly trying to see if you had to cut or trim anything to prevent them from rubbing. Particularly when you do a hard turn.
My question about having them on long term was more about if the change in geometry affected anything negatively.
I know it’s only about an inch and a half difference in tire size so it doesn’t seem like it should cause any long term problems, but I’ve been leery of just adding larger tires without adjusting the suspension.
