I've got the Heritage Tan leather in my JLR. I'd love a tan top but I'd also need to have my uppers for the half doors redone in tan twill.

Tan and sting gray sound bad on paper, but I saw one the other day and it looked great. Added warmth to the too cool gray. I understand it's not what you wanted/ordered though.

I’d love to see a tan color option for the Sky One-Touch. I put the oak color Hotheads Skyliner for SOT into my sting-gray 4xe with the dark saddle leather and it looks amazing. I get so many compliments on the tan leather seats with the sting-gray exterior, but seeing this pic makes me wish I would’ve gotten a tan soft top!

If you've reached out to the dealership and they've acknowledged that you received the wrong one and you have documentation indicating that you received the wrong one, then I think you just need to give them some time to source the correct one.

Doesn't sound like they're fighting you on it, just takes time these days to get certain things.
This. Just be patient and let the dealer make it right. Mistakes happen.

Don't let the dealer just pull a top off a Jeep. You don't know how long it has been in the elements, etc. They can get you the correct one. You can also try @JeepCares on here or the 800 number (I think they service Canadia, too?); they might have more resources available than the dealer. Hopefully they can get it to you soon, as weather is changing!

I personally love the tan top. They are pretty rare, and do recall some old Willy's and some higher-spec YJ/TJs.

Buddy just ordered a JL a couple weeks ago when they opened the '23 orders. He really wanted the tan with Granite, but the tan was no longer an option.

I'd be a lot more interested in half doors if I could get the uppers in tan. I'd also have a Sunrider by now if it were offered in tan. Hear us @Bestop ?

So I picked up my new '22 JLU a couple of weeks ago. Last week, I took off the hard top to install the soft top. It was then that I realized they had given me the tan soft top, instead of the black one, as indicated on the window sticker and build sheet.

I've been in touch with the dealership, but not much response besides "we're trying to find you a black one"
Any advice?
If the dealer is making an effort, and your post suggests they are doing so, carefully re-box the tan soft top. It's only fair that you return it in as new a condition as possible, since it wasn't ordered or wanted.
