Dear Ford:

Please consider renaming your Bronco Sport as the Bronkette.

Renegade, Compass, Patriot, and Liberty are/were the Wrangler "sport" versions of the Jeep family.

I’d go the other way. Wrangler should be the cheapest Jeep out of brand heritage.

Kill off Renegade (can revert back to being a Wrangler trim name), Compass, Cherokee (maybe) or rebadge them as Dodge shitwagons.

Leave the Wrangler alone. There is only one.
Keeping an entry level Wrangler Sport under $30,000 is essential ; brand loyalty comes from the entry level buyers that move up , propelled by memories and affordability.
Ditching the rear seat, carpet, adding AC as standard, keeping it under that $ 30,000 would go a long way to future sales.

Yup. Also a Renegade “Trailhawk” is already there to compete with the stupid Bronc “Sport”.

There's been a Wrangler Sport BEV on the market for years now:

Looks like they are keeping with the JK styling to cut costs.

Well, Ford did bring in about $90M more in revenue than Jeep last year. So they might want be tempted to take some notes.
Hahaha. What percentage of that was f series?

Like 90%. The Ram is doing well in closing the sales gap as well.

Agree with one exception. Loved the Jeep Cherokee. The new one trash. If they update that to the 90’s look and todays tech they’re have a winner. Compass and renegade should be canned.

Already discussed…

Oh, 100%. But I’m sure both companies are still watching each move closely and are constantly trying poach talent from each other.

I also just noticed that my last post said M. It should have been a B… for Billion. Even when we bring Ram into the equation, Ford still has a about a $72 Billion advantage over Jeep/Ram. So I still think the Jeep team is taking notes.

The current Cherokee is a strong seller, they wont get rid of it. Wrangler is the halo that draws people to the showroom, the other models are what they buy when they find the Wrangler too impractical or too expensive. But in their hearts, they still want one.

I’d love to see a new model designed like and XJ with an integrated frame and solid axles. Or maybe add a vehicle to the line that is more like a Suzuki Jimny, call it a Jeep Nano or something. Super basic, no luxury version.
