Interested in the Wolfbox G900Pro dash cam and rear view camera but it's 12" wide and blocks the driver sun visor being used

I use the sun visor quite often so don't want to deal with that

Has there been any fixes or hacks to this?

I did see someone mounting it on the dash but I have my 2 phone mounts there so don't think that would work either

Curious to see what people are doing

You can get your sun visor down, you just have to inconveniently tilt the mirror/screen a bit out of the way, then fold your sun visor down, then bring mirror back to intended tilt.

does this thing work with the monstrous adaptive cruise emergency stop rear view mirror?

What about the 10” version with the new mounting arm?

I have a 2023 JTRD and installed the 10 inch 930 and the Wolfbox mounting arm. As installed with the "mirror" facing the driver the passenger side visor misses the mirror with about 3/8 of an inch of clearance but the driver's side has about 1/8 - 1/4 of an inch of interference.

So, among the many projects for later, I was going to build a mounting plate that would fit between the 930 mirror and the Wolfbox supplied mounting plate that will shift the 930 about 1/4 inch to the right.

I shared this observation with Wolfbox and suggested how they might alter the Jeep Wrangler/Gladiator mounting. They politely thanked me, but I am still waiting for a fix from Wolfbox.

For now I either move the mirror before I drop the visor, or more often don't fully lower the driver's side visor.

Someone mentioned a new mounting arm. I used whatever Jeep specific mounting they were shipping during the summer of 2024.
