Anybody know what this circled wire is and if it’s able to be relocated? It’s towards the front of the rear passenger wheel well under the liner.

Why do you need to relocate it? It's generally covered by the fender liners.

That *might* be a bunch of canbus lines - that is the area where one of the canbus star connectors is located. You can peel back the carpet on top of the rear fender.

Maybe that's where the canbus lines for modules underneath the vehicle plug into the rest of the network. FWIW that's the high-speed bus used for the critical stuff, be careful!

My wheel rubs on that portion when flexing even with my aftermarket liners/lift so I’m trying to see if I can move it somehow.

Appreciate the in depth response! I’ll take a look and see if it’s worth moving or going bigger on a new lift kit to stop the aftermarket fender liners from pushing on it 😂

I would use the rear links to push the axle back as far as you feel comfortable with.

Could you go a little more in depth on how to do this? Tried searching it up but getting different kinds of info.

Do you have adjustable control arms?

I believe what @lashlee is suggesting is to lengthen the control arms to push the axle further back, and away from the wiring harness/front of the wheel well. This is what I would do as well.

You do need to be careful though, because if you go too far, your driveshaft, brake lines, or wiring running to the axle may be too short at full suspension droop.

What size tires and lift are you running? Maybe someone with a similar setup can chime in to help or share the lengths of their rear control arms.

It’s been a while since I installed my Motobilt fender liners so I don’t recall. Does the wiring harness follow the route I’ve highlighted in green? If so it appears the harness could be moved and attached the the tab with the hole I circled in yellow. I know not all that helpful but I thought I’d try.

That plug has been the root cause of many peoples canbus issues. whatever you do with it be carful.
