Hi all,

Which brand do you guys recommend?

I've tried searching this forum(10+ pages) but could not find a definitive answer - my apologies in advance for starting another post. I am a bit weary of the rainX products. The rainX orange caused my X5 washer to stopped working (reverting back to OE product solved it.). I read the rainX orange clogged the nozzle for some. I also read that the rainX green worked for some. I am happy to go OEM - does anyone have the product number?

Thank you,

I've used Rain X summer blend for bugs in the summer and the winter blend in all my vehicles for years. Never an issue.

I've found little to no difference in fluid types/brands. Certainly not any that justifies the added cost.
My best results were using the cheap blue stuff and using a lot of it.

in Montana it can get down to minus 30's F pretty fast so I make sure about this time of year I put winter windshield washer fluid in...blue or purple it all works the same....I think my last jug was walmart super-tech down to like -25F

seems like the simple stuff works best..
no need to dilute unless it specifies right?

I bought a box of these. Use 2 tablets in a gallon of water. Works great. It generally doesn't get cold enough here to freeze in the tank, but if it looks like we are heading towards a long cold snap I'll add some Prestone boost to the tank to lower the freezing point a bit.
