I know its petty and not really a complaint more of an observation. Sorry if you have never paid it any attention and now you see it. It's more prevalent on partly sunny days. It's the glare from hitting the top center of steering wheel chrome part and reflecting in the windshield. See attached photo. I fixed it with a strip of electrical tape, just seeing how correct wife is... am I crazy or anyone else see this.

I believe there's been a thread or 2 about this.

Personally, I don't have any issues. I wear prescription sun or eyeglasses with anti-glare coatings on them.

Yep, same problem here no matter how I adjust the steering column. I thought about using electrical tape, too. Is it the Willys edition with the blacked out interior trim? That wheel trim is not shiny. Haven’t seen a part number for it yet. Sunglasses and looking past it work for now. Keeps me from driving South so much, too. ?

I'm very sorry to hear you're having this problem. I have it also on 2023 jeep grand cherokee 4xe overlander. I would suggest bring it to your service station immediately. Don't put up with this. It's a very dangerous hazard, and I've heard of many cars getting into accidents because of this. Check it when you use it at night. Does it catch all overhead lights like if you go through a bridge or a tunnel or through a city street, it catches the lights. Causes a double light and starts moving around the windshield with a double ghost. If that's what you see. It means there's a problem with the wedge technology inside the windshield that's damaged. You can't see the damage directly, but it will cast a ghost glare. And it may also not be properly aligned with the lenses in the hud. Also called the national road safety department. Inform them that this is what this car has because there's other ones out there getting into accidents all over the place, they need to do something about it immediately, not to mention it's illegal to drive an automobile with any obstruction in the vision through the windshield. That's why they give you tickets. If you have a cracked windshield or if you put fuzzy dice in the rear view Mirror You're not allowed to have any distraction or blockage of the view on and from the windshield. Immediately escalate this as high as you can. There are others out there with this problem.Everybody needs to speak up to get something done about it immediately. If it comes to stellantis , they will do everything to cover it up and say the car was designed that way when it's not. It's damaged to your very specific automobile. There's a flow with it. They have to address it. Good luck

Some modales have a very dangerous issue with glare and reflection from the HUD and the wedge technology in the windshield. call jeep and tell them about it. they have to fix it. they can not sell cars with this issue. It is illegal to operate a car with any obstruction of the view of the road. it's worse than a cracked windshield or something blocking the view because it affects depth perception and causes cognitive distractions of the roadway. There are more vulnerable people on the road with this problem on the road. Like elderly or people with disability.

That's a Rubicon hood on OP's Jeep, but maybe he swapped hoods. 2025 Willys here and mine is black and no reflections like that.
