I know its petty and not really a complaint more of an observation. Sorry if you have never paid it any attention and now you see it. It's more prevalent on partly sunny days. It's the glare from hitting the top center of steering wheel chrome part and reflecting in the windshield. See attached photo. I fixed it with a strip of electrical tape, just seeing how correct wife is... am I crazy or anyone else see this.

I believe there's been a thread or 2 about this.

Personally, I don't have any issues. I wear prescription sun or eyeglasses with anti-glare coatings on them.

I wish the top of the steering wheel ring was black. The bright silver reflection is unmistakable when it becomes a heads up display on my windscreen throughout the mid day hours.

I would like to buy and install a black ring.

Yep, same problem here no matter how I adjust the steering column. I thought about using electrical tape, too. Is it the Willys edition with the blacked out interior trim? That wheel trim is not shiny. Haven’t seen a part number for it yet. Sunglasses and looking past it work for now. Keeps me from driving South so much, too. 🤣

OEM part number for the black trim ring is 6RN48TXDAA.

Yeah. It's annoying. What was the job like, replacing that ring with the black one?
that link I posted a couple posts up is a thread where I posted a step by step with pictures and tools needed.
