Just looking for some info if this set up would work with no rubbing issues running BFG Ko 2’s 35x12.50 18. I have a Sahara JL and installing a Mopar 2” lift and adding 1.75” wheel spacers. Currently I have 18x8 +34 wheels so if my math is correct that would leave a +12 offset. Thanks for any input.

I would think even without the spacers you would be fine

Yeah I’ll go with the spidertrax for now until I get new wheels. I wasn’t sure at first if I was going to do the lift or not last year so I had bought these.

It'll probably be fine, especially if you don't do any hardcore wheeling.

I as well don’t like spacers so I sold off my factory wheels and went with a -12 offset wheel on my Sahara, I wanted to keep the cost down by using my factory rims but was advised that the Sahara axles are not as wide as the Rubicon so I more than likely would have to have the wheel stops adjusted plus the BFG KO 2’s in 18” only come in D and E rated so will be a stiff ride so I opted to just replace all and sold my factory setup

If he uses quality spacers, there should be no issues at all.

Don’t be afraid to use Spidertrax spacers. They are top shelf!

The “horror” stories I hear about spacers is the fact that whoever was over torquing the studs and they snapped after being weakened leaving the actual spacer intact to the hub. It happens on original studs doing the same thing no matter what offset you may be running. People are quick to blame the spacer I’m sure.
