YES, YES!I didn't read all 6 pages, but your poll doesn't list the one true reason to buy a 4-door JLU.
BECAUSE THEY DON'T OFFER THE 392 IN A 2-DOOR.

I needed even more room, so I bought a lil pull-behind.![]()

I kept 1 seat for my daughter. Deleted the other. THIS IS NOT fully loaded. Before the trailer purchase, I was packed to the ceiling.

And frankly, my wife always loved the look of the XJ's. This was as close as I could get for her to looking like a Cherokee.

The 2dr is only better on tight trails made for sxs. It's tippy and unstable.off camber and way more likely to flop on steep hill climbs. Only people who don't wheel hard trails in big rocks still think the 2dr is better off road. Before the 4dr existed, wheelbase stretches were incredibly common out west. Weird because they fit none of the criteria in the poll? It's not the extra space that leads to the vast majority of rigs you see on 7+ rated trails out west being 4dr. Its the wheelbase. Sure it's nice to be able to take friends wheeling, carry more than a six pack and a sandwich in the cargo area, etc, but that's not the main driver for a lot of us.I know the two-door is a bit better off road but the Unlimited is more practical as a daily driver. I'll be using mine for back country camping and I need to haul my gear, and I'll actually sleep in the back. The two door also has a rougher ride.
