Why are my doors not locking?

On the keyfob I hit the door lock button. An hour later I return and the doors open without me having hit the unlocked button on the key fob. Is this expected?

If you have proximity key then yes, it’s expected behavior. Your front and tailgate door handles have a button on the outside you push to lock (if your key is in your pocket), and putting your hand inside the door handle will unlock.

if you don’t have proximity key, well that’s a problem

They doors have a button non the outside. Is it possible to disable proximity key?

In the radio under settings uncheck proximity in the doors and lock settings.

Why would you delete it, it's so convenient?? Only works if YOUR keys is with you, no one else can open!

Well here is the opposite side of the coin, why is my drivers side door not unlocking? The passenger side and tailgate unlock.
