The lease company goes commercial version of the credit.
Ah - that includes state incentives. Unfortunately Iowa doesn't offer any state incentives.

Get the hail damage and go to Rubitrux and they will hook you up with take off parts

Yes, 2024 Willys has a rear locker.
How important would that be in my situation? I live in Iowa and will never (or very rarely) be on any true 4wd trails.
If you don't plan on doing a lot of 4wd trails or rock crawling I would say skip the Rubicon and wait for the 2dr manual. Especially if you already have a daily driver you can drive in the meantime.

My opinion is probably biased though as I love my 2dr MT.

For a weekend toy, 2door MT all the way if you ask me. There are a fair amount of MT critics on here but I love mine so far.

@MIller4isu

Never mind, I totally missed the part where it said Rubicon 4xe.

Giving your situation, it sounds like you're already well taken care of, and the fact that you seem to only have you and your wife, and that it's a weekend Wheeler, I stick with the two-door personally. At minimum if you do decide to get into hardcore off-roading, you'll have a much better time doing it in a two-door that's shorter wheelbase. Also manual transmissions are so much more fun to drive!

Though I do like sarge green quite a bit, if I were in your shoes, I would hold out for the two-door manual transmission Willys.

Hope that helps guy! :like:

I don't think it makes sense to buy something just because it's a good deal. The thrill of a good deal fades once you get the vehicle home and you have to live with it. Get what you want.

That said, a 4xe Rubicon is a great vehicle, I wouldn't steer you away from one. If it's something you really think you'd enjoy as much as the Willys you have on order, then I could see changing plans.

They seem like completely different things. So, what do you want, what you ordered (presumably what you want), or a good deal on what you don't want?

It's kind of like getting a good price (6% off invoice) for a sandwich, ordered exactly how you want. Or, you can get a sh*t sandwich for a dollar off.

I'd say it's more like getting a good price on a Steak-um vs a great price on a sliced sirloin hoagie, but maybe you really just feel like a Steak-um today?

Another option is buy the 4xe, then sell it when your 2 door finally comes in. You might even make out on the deal.
