Yep. You are right! And we do! Engineers are doing their job, and as a brand, we want to combine the best of both worlds. We want to ensure the functionality of the light mode while also considering the appearance. That's the end of the headlight I don't get to see. What about the light that the headlight puts out? That's the part I care about. Unless the light pattern is the same for all eight designs. So I guess the answer is whatever puts out the best light pattern and then works backwards from that. Replace the design department with engineers.
Well, it's a mistake. We commend you for your careful observation.Aren't #3 and #5 the same? Is this some kind of PsyOp Rorschach thing?
This is certainly one of the options, I will collect all the answers and sort them out. One thing is for sure. We will not focus on making things that customers hate.Is 'none of the above' an option? I'm a traditionalist.
Hey there! Why do you think so? We accept criticism. We are happy when customers like our products, but criticism is very important for us to improve our products. So, do we think this guy is trying to get a refund of his forum sponsorship yet?
Sometime my taste doesn't fit the masses...for some reason I'm kinda drawn to #8, but with two caveats.
I would need to see how the outer angled pieces look lit up, but the biggest caveat for me is that there would have to be a mirrored design for each side. If both lights were the same with the angled pieces going same direction, my OCD would be pegged. Kinda like aftermarket wheel designs that are made with a directional look, but only one wheel is made for the whole car...ending up with wheels on one side "pointing" to the front of the car, while "pointing" to the back on the other side of the car.
I'll ask our exterior designers for inspiration. I'm personally curious, too.You do realize that the design inspiration for the JL LED headlight came from a Disney owned movie with a lot of robots, right?
Thank you buddy! Shared with our engineers. Happy holidays!#4 is ok. But I'd love a headlight that lights up as well as the OEM led and has additional functions, such as also integrated flood light (much more light than OEM fog lights) or driving beams to replace small led bars. Add running and blinker lights to replace the factory fender lights when the fenders are cut down. And make sure they are heated so avoid snow build-up like the OEMs. Now then I'd be interested. Santa Claus loves my Christmas wish lists.![]()
Cot it. It seems that people prefer the OEM style.I can't see any difference between 3 and 5. To be honest, they all look like pretty unattractive to my tastes. They are just too busy. Maybe 4, if I had to choose one. They sort of, maybe, kinda would look like Mercedes G klasse, headlamps when turned on.
Shared with our engineers. If you want to sell a lot of lights? Sell a quality one that looks like the factory light at an affordable $$$. You will sell the shit out of them!
Thats what most of us want
We certainly hope to collect suggestions and feedback from people who know Jeep. As for product pricing, it apply the market economy approach, which is related to input and output.@SUPAREE I feel like you guys came to the wrong forum. People around here tend to be hardcore Jeep fans. I think the people you're looking for are more of those luxury Wrangler fair weather fan owners. I'm sure we have a couple around here, somewhere... They usually pop in once or twice and then never come back.
I'm not sure of any forums that have mainly the people who would be buying these, but realistically they probably won't keep their Wranglers long enough to actually make it worthwhile to modify anything.
Regardless, what's the price point you guys are looking to sell these at?
Cuz I can get similar looking headlights from AliExpress for about $40 for a pair...![]()
Perhaps it's something like common sense?idk why but when i glanced at your avatar-logo i thought your name said "Subparee"![]()
Obviously, the cost of the product is different. The quality will also be relatively different. Of course, everyone's consumption needs are different.yeah, these have Amazon written all over them. although @zeebo56 will probably order a set or two.
id like just a normal oem looking headlight, that works great, fits like oem without adapters or whatever nonsense, and costs way less than oem. none of the aftermarket stuff does it for me. and they always seem to have issues eventually.
can you really buy headlights on temu or wherever for $40?? if so, that's scary.... even when i started driving, when my truck had sealed headlights, i dont think they were that cheap... and $40 is like the new $20.... so let that sink in....
